A month after we broke up, they started talking on the phone a lot and he told her over the phone that he liked her. I didn't find out until a week after that he had told her. I only found out because one of my good friends thought that i needed to know what was going on between them. He knew how much i had loved my ex and he knew that I still had really strong feelings for her.

So, he knew that i knew but still avoided talkign to me about it. I had to call him and ask him what was going on and that was when he told me we shouldn't be friends anymore. I said i would forgive him, but he said its better off if we werent friends.
