girl: hung out with friends i havent seen in awhile but i need to study for ubc exams
guy: but its good to catch up with your friends/bf?
girl: usually i hang out with frds at least once a week but been busy these days so i havent gone out for awhile

perhaps the better question he should ask himself is " do i wanna see her only once a week since shes so busy ? " assuming he would want to spend more time with her
