it's sad to hear about those things. i don't anyone should hurt themselves over another person in that way.

the guy lived a double life...
he was the sweetest nicest most romantic guy to her...(and her friends see him as not a player, but a smart romantic)

4 years..moved in together, and the engagement came and all that fun stuff...we were so happy for her.

This is the guy..a career man, young rich, had style..basically..GQ type guy
one of my friends worked under him after graduating and thot it was quite cool.

well on a business trip, my friend and the douche of a guy went to party/drink a bit...brought some girls back to the hotel room. and yea..

anyways.this was going on for a year and we all knew of this...we finally had to tell her so she actually flew to denver where he was working that weekend and caught him in teh act.

my friend went with her parents...
she was heartbroken, wasted 4 years with a sexaddict

2 weeks later, she finds out she got herpes from the douche bag

holy fuck I was a wreck last night, I was fine at first and oddly we were talking more yesterday than we have been in the last while, but after dinner I pounded back a 2L can of beer and went for a walk by myself down the access trail and made it to the ski lift, I sat on the chair that was swinging at the spot where you get off and mumbled out all the stuff I wish I could say to you but couldn't because you're too much of a sweetheart to talk to like that. Then I wrote "I love you <initials>" in the snow and walked back. Then I sat in the snow on the edge of the trail below our condo and heard some of our friends in the hottub saying they didn't like the way you broke up with me (not knowing how to do it so ignoring me until I asked you wtf was up).

I'm going to miss you so much it's unbelievable, I think we'll still be friend but it's not the same, you gave my life so much more meaning and purpose. I have a lot less to look forward to now and have a lot less motivation for a lot of stuff. Hopefully that feeling goes away but if you get to the point where you're ready to be in a relationship again before I get over you maybe you'll let me know. Here's hoping.

Haha I might have tipped her more substantially than normal. But to be honest, It was probably my best outing in terms of flirting. I was on my A game. In fact at one point she said I was the funniest guys she's met. She does happen to be 29 though....but I told her I was shooting home to find home made recipes to increase then length of my hair so I could see her sooner.

fuck, my now-ex ( :whine: ) was the same for a bit, her and all her friends keep drooling over those stupid books. Then we showed her a movie with more "realistic" vampires (30 Days of Night, shit movie but oh well). Hell, I think she enjoyed reading about the dirty parts of those books more than dating me

the books are horribly written to be honest. i'm just madly in love with the description of the character. and the guy who plays him in the movie.

I'm stuck at home on a Saturday night with nothing to do. How sad, wtf wtf!

of course they're terribly written, I glanced through a bit of one and read the backs of others, they sound like total trash. The show is absolute garbage too. I think it's more the dirty bits the girls find appealing.

Apparently she broke up with her last/first boyfriend last year because he told her that her friends and her needed to grow up, I can now see where he was coming from. I still want her back though, even though I know it won't happen.
