Slept over at her place. Made me breakfast and packed lunch me lunch for work, and drove me to work even though it's nearly impossible for her to wake up before 12PM.

Luckiest man.

long day at work. 20+hr shift. came home to find my dog already been let out and fed. my post house party mess all cleaned. my marijuana kit all tidy up and organized.

Note to self: Make sure SO has Nexus.

In the last ten months, my father was laid off, his car burnt down, my mother's arthritis got worse, my brother (who is on the low-functioning Autism spectrum) started getting into violent fits at least once a week.

But if I've learned anything from Monty Python, it's to look on the bright side of life. At least I still have my health, a roof over my head, three meals a day, enough spending money, a family that loves me. At least I live in a socially progressive country with a healthy economy and a strong safety net. If I were reincarnated today, I would probably be a Chinese peasant.

I'm going to apply for a summer job and get work experience, and I also have university in the fall to look forward to.
