I've been so occupied getting over you....
It worked....for now at least.

but on the other hand I'm so glad I went out last weekend
met this great guy we clicked when we first talked to each other...
Just let it go slow....don't rush things.... then it will be alright...

Verdasco 02-14-2015 11:20 AM

happy single awareness day guys!

Can I ask you why you're doing this to yourself?

Is finding the love of your life that important to you?

I've been following you for the last 4 years; and it seems like time after time you've been burned.

Why don't you just focus on yourself for one year.
Find a hobby!
Take a course!
Focus on family!

Its when you're not looking; Not expecting; That's when you truly find something amazing

I smoke a blunt to take the pain out
And if I wasn't high, I'd probably try to blow my brains out
I'm hopeless, they should've killed me as a baby
And now they got me trapped in the storm, I'm goin' crazy
Forgive me; they wanna see me in my casket
And if I don't blast I'll be the victim of them bastards
I'm losin' hope, they got me stressin', can the Lord forgive me
Got the spirit of a thug in me
Another sip of that drink, this Hennessey got me queasy
Don't wanna hurl, young nigga take it easy

2pac - lord knows

I got too fucked up friday :(

any ways please in your opinion can you tell me the difference between dating vs seeing someone?

Jmac 02-15-2015 12:04 AM

So, last weekend, GF says we never do what she wants to do. I say fair enough, we can do whatever you want to do for Valentine's Day. She seems pretty happy about that.

Every day this week, I asked her what she wants to do and she would respond, "I don't know." At this point, I'm kind of figuring that she has some surprise planned for us.

I've been working night shifts all week including last night, so I slept in until about 10:30 this morning. No breakfast in bed, no GF in the apartment. I think ... well, this is some serious bullshit. GF went out with her dad for breakfast. Okay, fine.

She gets back in the afternoon, asks me where we're going for dinner. I tell her she didn't tell me what she wanted to do ... She hits me with ... "I shouldn't have to tell you what I want to do, you should know. It's not romantic if I have to tell you."

:fulloffuck:

Obviously, she didn't plan anything.

So, after a long ass fight (and makeup sex, at least), we end up ordering in because she doesn't want to go out, watching half the Canucks game and a movie, and, naturally, it's followed by her crying, telling me "I only said I wanted to do that because that's what I thought you wanted to do."

Happy mindfuck day ... Fuck ...

Last time I hand my GF a blank cheque for Valentine's Day.

I think dating is when you call yourself girlfriend and boyfriend and it's mutual, while seeing someone is kind of in between. When you see someone you are seeing if each other is compatible but there is a barrier preventing you from becoming girlfriend and boyfriend. Whereas dating it's mutually established that you guys want to see each other and are able to put a title.

I disagree that dating = bf/gf... that's being in a relationship with someone. Dating is the early stages when you're just going on dates with someone or even several people. Seeing someone is a bit more serious but neither of which imply exclusivity

i had the same thing. my girl had to work on V day, told her i ain't falling for the hallmark holiday with a rush of people with shit service and ridiculous food.

1) so we celebrated on Thursday
2) did a great gift exchange and
3) even had a cake.

v-day came along.. i got in shit cause I didn't see her...
FML.

the question is - did the color of her panties and bra match?

IF they did, the night was decided the moment she matched them

Like I've mentioned before, Vday isn't a huge deal for me and we had our 1 year a week before.. but it really was an amazing day anways.

I got my hair done, we went to the track to watch some nissans and bmws slide around, went for a 2 hour cruise.. separate cars of course, had a nice dinner.. he even surprised me with a little present! Completely unexpected and made my day! Then we ended it with a bang.

Spoiler!

I'm a lucky girl. I wish I could clone him for all you single girls :)

I think maturity goes way further than age... I know a lot of people the same age as me still living at home with no clue what they want to do for a career and on the other hand I know people younger than me with their own businesses, married, etc.
Some people in their 30's still act like an 18 year old bar star.

Too true, I'm fairly young and looking at some of the people I graduated school with a few years ago, I really wonder what they are going to do by themselves w.o their parents
