My wife loves downtown Vancouver, and I like it too, but I hate the logistics of getting there: driving there from Langley, dealing with stupid peds and traffic, and finding parking. So, we're gonna do a staycation in June, and stay in Yaletown for 3 nights.

Galactic_Phantom 02-16-2016 04:43 PM

^How do intend to fill up those 3 days? There really isn't much to do

what are you going to do? June should be nice weather to bike around the seawall, walk through Stanley Park... that stuff...
rent scooters and bomb around, get gelato lol

We live in Langley, but we rarely go to Vancouver. So, we're just gonna chill, take it easy, and be casual tourists, and appreciate the stuff that the locals take for granted. I'm sure my wife has a list of stuff she wants to do. She loves downtown. We're staying in the guest suite @ my sister's condo near the Yaletown skytrain station. It was $255 all-in for 3 nights, including parking and all amenities. It's close enough to everything that we'll have plenty to do. Personally, I'm looking forward to drinking lots, and not having to worry about getting back to home :)

^^ Be grateful, I don't get a trip this year as money just sin't there.

It's nice to have an apartment, but fuck, adulthood can get really stressful at times.
The planning, man the planning, that's the killer. Forget to thaw something in the morning, and you're eating cereal for dinner. :fuckthatshit: :okay:

how do you tell the difference between enjoying the opposite sex's company and starting to gain feelings for them?

With my last ex, at first I couldn't tell if i enjoyed the attention she gave me, or if i started to develop feelings.

Now with the new girl, I can't tell if Im yearning for the attention, or slowly falling for her.

Or the days where you get home from work and are too tired to cook anything. Can I go back to being a teenager and living at home for free? :lol

Finally decided to end my relationship with my fiancée (long distance). After spending 2 weeks with her it feels things aren't always of what I though it was. Maybe we weren't meant to be together, but since we don't see each other often enough is hard to get to know her. Now I do it seems so different like she is a totally stranger, a total different person. Add to the fact that her parents are demanding unreasonable demands just to marry their daughters.

Feels like shit right now since I just got back and doesn't know how to break the news to her....... I know she will be hurt but it have to do done.

I have a lunch date with a girl on sunday and for the first time in years, I have butterflies in my stomach when meeting a girl. She runs through my mind because so far her background fits someone who I want to have a future with.

Don't over think it, don't over think it, don't over think it, don't over think it, don't over think it, don't over think it, don't over think it, don't over think it, don't over think it, don't over think it, don't over think it, don't over think it, don't over think it, don't over think it, don't over think it, don't over think it, don't over think it, don't over think it, don't over think it, don't over think it, don't over think it, don't over think it..... fuck, over thinking it.

Rent a bike and ride around Stanley park. No better way to spend a couple of hours just chilling beside the water. The weather is getting better.
