If that's the only thing holding you back, try picking up these: Amazon.com: TechMatte USB-C to Micro USB Adapter Convert Connector for HTC 10, LG G5, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, OnePlus 2 with 56k Resistor; Approved to Meet USB Type-C Standard (2-Pack, Black): Computers & Accessories

USB C will be on all the new phones soon so it won't be a problem then.

Working my ass off for this promotion..

it's summer and i borrowed my buddy's road bike. I'm always itching to cycle now. It's MUCH easier than running and I'm happy I'm not sitting on my ass all day watching episodes of mindless crap.

Let's keep this momentum going for 1 month until i insure my real bike (motorcycle).

So fucking livid right now. Why would you ask me to lie to my child willingly? Grow the fuck up and be a man.

Exchanging messages with girls online feels like it's 1960, we're in Dzerzhinsky Square, and I'm a KGB Colonel trying to get information from an American spy.

Seriously, I'm impressed at how *bad* local girls are at conversation.

6o4__boi 05-11-2016 07:30 AM

no plans for summer means i should probably get a part time job

why the fuck is it so hard to find one -.-

6793026 05-11-2016 07:56 AM

^ what kind of part time job are you looking for? there are TONS of places hiring but i don't want to be disrespectful and say go work at retail / food industries.

a lot of jobs are hiring to be honest.

6o4__boi 05-11-2016 08:13 AM

I shud've said PT on top of my FT job, that's what was making it hard to find a job that fits.
I've spoken to a few places but I lose em when I can't commit to their minimal hours per week or they're only open til 6 or 7 on weekdays. I'm looking for something around 15-20 hours/week.
I think I'm gonna apply at the liquor store...they do on-call seasonal workers which would be perfect assuming I haven't missed their summer season hiring date.

True enough. Although there are some cool tricks you can do with USB C. My Nexus 6P can function as a powerbank to charger any other USB C device for instance. It'll be great once everything's settled down with USB C.

guurl 05-11-2016 02:50 PM

that's pretty cool. i probably wouldn't want to share my power with anybody else though :) *greed*
but yeah techonology is behind on the type c cords. wonder why

jaemc 05-12-2016 09:00 AM

illestchk 05-12-2016 11:11 AM

Help.. I don't know who I am anymore

guurl 05-12-2016 12:54 PM

Armind 05-12-2016 12:57 PM

Go work for Meridian Valet. They'll hire anybody with almost any availability because they have a lot of locations to fill for any given time. Try to hog a good location, and you'll be making $15-20 after min wage. + tips for basically doing nothing. I think at the peak, I made $20-30 an hour for weekend nights when its busy. Worst case scenario if they don't give you a good location after a couple weeks just quit on the spot.

Cons:
-High turnover. Its a shitty job so people are always leaving. Meaning you'll always have to be training people. Most of them not car guys so they'll be slow and they suck
-Minimum wage. Locations that suck have almost no tips while the best places will have quite decent (considering the amount of work you actually do)

Lasagna is basically meat cake layering up. I like pasta and I like cake, Lasagna is the bridge between two worlds.

smoothie. 05-17-2016 01:12 PM

it depends

spaghetti lets you take control of your life:
-sauce choice
-toppings
-parmesan amount
-baked with cheese or as is

lasagna is more of a controlled offering in life:
-what meat is inside
-rest is up to the chef

do you see yourself more decisive and creative, or one to pick from what is offered?

it comes down to your own decision and ideology you choose in life. both can be a happy life, as long as you've picked right for YOU.

ChronoReverse 05-17-2016 03:51 PM

Why not both? Make the lasagna yourself.

Armind 05-17-2016 06:22 PM

How the fuck does one listen to a chinglish mixtape over and over again.

Holy fuck I wanna smash their sound system.

I'm so sad for my boss, right now. His wife, and best friend died, suddenly, of yet unknown cause. They have 2 teenage boys. I can't imagine the amount of grief they are feeling right now. :(

The goals in life drive us forward.
Others can either motivate us or bring us down.
Some people have a rock they can always lean against.

But what if you have no goal. Or no rock.
What if your rock is actually an anchor.
An anchor carrying you down into the dark depths.

Your goal then falls out of sight, and you go blind in the darkness.
Nothing to motivate you, other than yourself.
Suffering in silence.
