They always refer to "there are bunch of other fishes in the sea" but honestly how many are still out there, that is caring, loving, being honest. People change all the time you don't even see it.

Its easy to fall in love with someone. Its hard to make them fall for you.

I feel like you need to look inward when you find yourself in that situation more than you feel you should. Are you compatible with these people you "fall in love" with? Is it even love? If its real, what is it about me that all these women don't like? Do I have a temper? Am I too clingy? Am I beta AF or openly very fucking cheap?

If you feel like you're a perfect human being on the inside, then look outward for a second- Are they out of your league? Maybe you're just not good looking in their eyes, cus you know, shallow as it is, but also just as true, you can't be ugly to them.

If you're cheap and ugly with a temper, you're SOL. If you're conventionally average looking with a fairly good personality to go with, you'll find your match :) Be patient and don't get desperate or complacent. Good luck ;)

Even though I've heard so many bad things about you, pissed off one of my closes friend that i have left... i still want to talk to you. I should really trust my friend whom introduced me to you and cut all contact... but i also want to see what your like personally, which may end up really bad for me if you are like what my friend said you are...

Here we go again...

mb_ 06-25-2016 11:39 PM

Leaving the group of people I work with was not an easy decision as they made work a bit easier but at the same time, excited to start working at my job :fullofwin:

PK-EK 06-28-2016 03:23 PM

I've been talking to her for 4 months now.
I made it very clear from the start that i was interested in her. she made it very clear that she wasn't looking for a relationship.

We stopped talking for a little while and one day she messages me again
(yes, I know she just wanted attention)
But she says that She can't just stop talking to me because I shared so many personal things with her. (at this point on, i knew i was kinda fucked)

so now it drives me crazy.
I have this obligation to talk to her everyday when i know I really shouldn't.
I need to move on from her. but with the way things are going, i don't have the heart to just stop talking to her. It would make her so sad that she would be loosing a friend.

I'd do anything to make her happy. she is very important to me.
how long do you think before I tear myself up inside?

Yes, I know. I'm a fucking idiot and i should of just walked away and moved on.

PK-EK 06-28-2016 03:29 PM

I know i'm being fucking stupid here.

but I'm just kinda waiting for the day she realises that "I'm a great guy"
and waiting for the day she falls for me.

*Give me a fucking break. I'm not a teenager anymore. I should really fucking live in reality and not in the movies*

I don't know the specifics of your situation. Nor do I know all of the specifics of my friend's situation, but a friend of mine chased this girl from gr.10 onwards. Turned down repeatedly but finally was given a chance. They've been together ever since (grad class of 2008)

I'm not saying that sort of thing will happen, but you gotta decide for yourself. Do you put yourself as #1, or do you put her as #2 and do her bidding because it makes her happy, even tho it sounds like its killing you inside.

Either way, hang in there, you'll figure out something.

Feel expendable.... :(

jinxcrusader 07-02-2016 12:27 AM

It is absolutely tearing me up inside that she is in a relationship with a guy that doesn't even cherish her. He is financially stable and responsible as "husband"-material which she believes to be sufficient but he is so work-focused and oriented that she is neglected.

^ i appreciate you thanking my posts.

But who do you think you are? What gives you the right to say he isnt good enough for her.
No one has that right to say that unless its the person themselves.

You just need to be supportive. If you loved her. You would accept that she found someone. Even if it isnt you.
You're just being sour. Im sorry to break it to you

EvoLove 07-02-2016 08:45 PM

Why... Every time i find a girl that i'm interested in, they always show me a reason on why i should not be with them, because i know i will get hurt emotionally and financially...

Grind while you're young, don't worry about women/relationships. Overtime whoever's meant to be for you will show up.

There, are you happy now?

threezero 07-04-2016 06:24 PM

just gave up a job with a bigger company and better benefits to try and rough it out with a smaller growing company.

it just hit me, giving up rrsp matching, benefits and stability with a big company for a very small raise and the possibility of moving up faster.

not sure if i just fucked myself. total YOLO move

I would much hire a guy who moved from mail clerk>csr>supervisor>manager>vp at a growing firm vs some guy who's a 1/50 managers at a large firm.

People tend to appreciate those who've rolled up their sleeves ,worked and been part of the ride up (or down).. Mind you, if you have a family, hope you got the support of the wife for the decision.

FYI, people under estimate benefits. It's around 20k a company is paying on benefits. After RRSP matching, pension, benefits, and all the other vacation days, sick days, pet days, volunteering days, car allowances, it's pretty significant.

If you put it this way it's actually not as bad as I thought lol. I lost rrsp matching, a not as comprehensive health benefits. But I gain more vacation days and profit sharing.

Any case already quit so it's one of those cant look back now kind of thing.
