Tons of pepper for me too! I also like mixing my sriracha with ketchup to make it extra spicy :) Brought 30 pieces to a late christmas dinner with some friends last night, was amazing!

Don't even get me started. I don't think I've ever gained so much weight over the holiday season before. I can literally see my mid section bulging out with fat.

Seriously need to hit the gym very soon after New Year's, more than ever

Inaii 12-29-2016 09:43 PM

Gonna start ghosting in 2017, see you if I see you.

But Vancouver weather is so mild and the landscape is so beautiful in beautiful British Columbia. Stay for the scenery, leave the wild life alone.

Juke chicken /thread

guurl 01-02-2017 05:49 PM

^ I thought it was pretty good. Too expensive though. And my chicken was kind of cold.. lol minus points.

Akinari 01-02-2017 05:57 PM

Anyone tried Cocoru in Richmond? Zabu chicken is usually my go-to for chicken and beer.

Been there before.

its not bad. I just like to go there for the drinks and atmosphere.

Honestly don't remember the food much - so it shouldn't of been bad. lol
(I have a drinking problem)

Surprised there are no NYE party stories.

I guess I'll "Speak it Out"

Long story short.
New girl comes and tags along with us on our NYE party.
told the bros that I was interested and I was going to ask her out.
my best friend was all over her and they had a pretty intense make-out session at midnight
Got pissed off and left early by myself

stayed in my room all day on Jan. 1st and debated my entire life.

concluded that its not worth it to get mad at my bestfriend - everyone was drunk as fuck. and i barely know this girl

Moving on with my life!
but gonna guilt trip best friend for a couple of weeks to get free shit off of him lol

Akinari 01-03-2017 10:47 AM

I had a NYE party, nothing really worth sharing aside from the usual drinks and good vibes.

Although we did go a bit more ham than usual.

From around 11:20-11:45 it was 1 shot every 2 minutes of home made yogurt soju and apple Demisoda soju (split amongst 10 people).

From 11:45-12:00 it was 1 shot every minute of a bunch of different shit from whiskey to 151 to vodka, beer, wine, etc.

And at 12:00 we popped the champagne.

Safe to say everyone was quite done by the end of the night. I didn't get home until 4:30am

Miraculously I was still able to wake up at 9:30am for a 4hr shift at work the next day without passing out. Some of my other colleagues were not so fortunate, and literally passed out on the break table whilst drinking Gatorade.

alwayslive 01-03-2017 02:25 PM

I honestly don't really like Korean style fried chicken. Every place I've been to has chicken that is way too stiff and hurts your mouth.

Verdasco 01-03-2017 06:47 PM

hon sushi on top of earls near willingdon and kingsway had the best chicken imo

zabu is garbage, cocoru is alright but expensive side, environment felt liike its for young 15 year olds lol. other places felt like adult

maybe too kiddish restaurant but it is richmond after all...

things I have missed so much in my one month of absence:

1) Pho - Can not compare the pho between the two places
2) Ramen is more unique in Van, here is chinese chains
3) Air + scenary / wildlife , hongkong isnt that bad in terms of weather at the moment, 20 degrees average and easy too breathe.... but in Van, you breathe wet damp air that soothes your soul.
4) Driving, people walk too damn much in HongKong. Given the options they have, you have to walk to go to once place to another. I have walked more in one month stay in Asia than my whole year in Canada haha!

ilovebacon 01-03-2017 07:53 PM

somewhat it feels good to open up and not keep everything inside and minding my own business

Well, being on Alexandria surrounded by hideous Lambos/Ferraris/Rolls/etc. driven by 18 year old idiots who don't speak a lick of English probably doesn't help lol
