speaking about colognes, what would you guys recommend?
You'll have to go to sephora and get samples. Or spray the cologne directly on your wrist and walk around for a while - get a girl you trust or gf to smell test you lol.
Perfumes/colognes react differently with everyone's body chemistry. You have to find the one that works well with yours individually.
Some guys just use the same ones other guys do and it does not smell good. I'm super sensitive to smell and I'll get dizzy if i walk past a person whos perfume/cologne doesn't work well with them.

If you have to "define" your relationship, you've already done it wrong. Here's how it is: if you have to talk to her about it to give her a choice, ball's in her court, she wears the pants.
What you should have done, instead of questioning, is show some physical contact, blaze up with her when she asked you if you're down. Be agreeable. Plan ahead and if you needed 12 hours to sober up, do it on a day you know you have the next day off.
I don't think it's up to you anymore to make a decision on whether you get to be with her or not.
Lastly, if you offered to help her already, fuckin' do it and be a man of your word. Suck it up. Don't think too deeply on your relationship and have fun while you're moving, maybe show her you aren't a stiff.

On another note, she's moving this next week, so naturally I'd offer to help her. But do I bring up the defining topic before or after I help her.

I suggest you help her move as planned. I think that's a great opportunity to bring you two together. Talk as you work. Make the conversation more personal as the move progresses. Throw a joke out there once in a while to lighten the mood. Notice her reactions and play accordingly.
Then when the move is all over, you both toke hard af and then talk some more. Find out if that hard work you two put in together built a foundation for a potential relationship.
So looks like I'm helping her move, and she wants to cook for me (yay!) - as long as I do the dishes (it's only fair). Plus I'll be making my killer smoothies, I've gotten really good at making nutritious soft foods since I had my wisdom teeth extraction. Planned a date for moving/grocery shopping/cooking.
I think my texting game is pretty strong, but my in person game is weak af. I connect with her pretty well on the deeper interpersonal level. But I have nothing to say when it's not deep talk LOL. I'm pretty comfortable with silence tho, but I feel like having something to say, will make the physical less awkward.
My idea of fun is far from what she does. I feel like she literally does nothing but blaze, sleep, and eat. But I literally do nothing but car stuff LOL.
In general, the best way to get to know someone is to talk about the following things in order:
- Family
- Occupation
- Recreation
- Dreams.

if a lady is a smoker,good for her,i prefer it over alcohol but if you're relatively new to smoking with her i wouldn't over do that shit with fresh lungs....i'm talking turning your head getting dizzy stoned being such a lightweight or a confusing short term memory state (where the fuck did i rest my phone 5 seconds ago!?)...i wouldn't want to put anyone on a train ride to hell with concentrates or eatables unless they're comfortable where its gonna take them if they think its okay or try fight it cause they're not use to it at all. from experience

IMO you should definitely get it straightened out before you help her move. If you're in the friendzone now, you'll never get out and you're gonna get used. She'll be like oh you're so nice, but she'll always just see you as a nice friend. You gotta make your moves in person and not over the phone. There's too many variables and it give her too much time to think and play games. In person it's either yes or you move on.

Sure, I'd like to be lazy and be glued to my chair stoned as fuck too, but there's a time and place for everything in moderation. I don't have time to fuckin' blaze and be stoned out every day, I gotta get RS rekt
I think ZN6 and I are on the same page. The only issue I have with her is that she wants to get high all the time. And that's what I don't want to do, while other people have mentioned that I should just pick a day when i don't have work the next day, I don't have time to just fuck around.
For example, instead of getting high and doing nothing for 12 hours, I'd rather go work on my car, detail my car, and go for a cruise. (Though I can do all that stuff high as well, except for drive). Honestly, despite what people around my age are known to be doing, I'd much rather not go out and club/drink. My life really revolves around meeting up with my friends doing car stuff.
She did mention that she recognizes that its starting to have a negative effect on her life, and she's trying to quit
Sounds like you should just start a relationship with your car.
My car and I already have a love hate relationship. I love how she looks, but I hate how high maintenance she is. I still beat on her, and kind of feel bad. But it's good for her to clear out the carbon once in awhile.
