When on a bubble tea date on Sunday. The table we were sitting the lighting was really bad. Bascially her back was facing the bad door so I could hardly see her. Suggesting several times I could barely see her and lets switch tables. She doesn't want to for some odd reason so I have to like kept my eyes wide open just to see her face.
Anyways after the date is over she message me asking if I have any mental issue since I kept my eyes like wide open during the date. I explain to her about the lighting and even remind her I mention this during the date and even suggested to change table. Did not respond to her afterwards. That was very very rude of her......

No. We move on. It didn't work out. We were still friends though. We discuss it and for her she needs to take care of her family first (Kids, Parents are here on visas). We did a rough calculation that she spends at least 7k monthly expense at least so is impossible for her to quit her business and in Vancouver long term.
Right now she travels back and forth from China to Vancouver for her immigration business. At least she was super clear about it.

Lying about trying to be interesting is just as painful as knowing you aren't interesting. Either way, you hate yourself.
Disconnecting from Facebook really hammered that home with those notifications disappearing.

This year, the only people who messaged me / texted me were the ones who actually knew my birthday rather than know my birthday based on a FB notification.
Felt so much better. Didn't have to feel compelled to thank people I don't interact with otherwise. May as well go to the kid celebrating their birthday at a Red Robin table and do the same.

I wish there weren't so many virtue signalling 'expert political' retards on my friends list. You know, the type of person who blah blahs about the evils of governments while doing fuck all themselves to be better community participants.
Thank fuck for the 'unfollow' button.

. | Yeah, the pity birthday wishes were one of the signs I should stop. Empty, useless, and do nothing from someone who only knows you as an obligation rather than a friend.
I even gave up Messenger and I'm no longer bothered by people who only want to buy parts from me at a discount.

Shit always happens when I'm not at work. I needed to take the afternoon off, and I get an end of the day email from HR that there has been "restructuring" in IT. They let go of the system administrator. He got hired the same time I did, in 2006. Guess who's the lucky guy with two thumbs that can cover his work?

I'm not jealous anymore, i've given up. No matter how much i dont like you being with a person you will still see them. You have your own friends, i'm not going to be the one that restricts you, thats not healthy.
