As Mike is saying, just get yourself outta there. If she really meant what she said, you need to run away from this ASAP. If she didn't really mean what she said, the comment still shows the degree of tone-deafness that she has, and neither thing is good. With a long term partner, you want somebody that values you for who you are. (Flings would obviously work differently though. :ifyouknow: ) |

GF lost her father last year due to the pandemic, and its taken a toll on us, mainly because when she gets depressed I don't know how to comfort her other then to just be there and listen, her father didn't pass from the virus but from a cholesterol built up that burst in his heart, that went untreated for a week due to a misdiagnosis from his family doctor, which diagnosed it as food poisoning. its been hard to comfort her since she blames herself for taking him to a steak house just before it happened. I've told her that its not her fault and blamed the doctor for the incorrect diagnosis, but I feel bad since doctors are human too, and they they make mistakes... |
Yes.. they all do. Some with really bad beside manners. SO.. it's good to get second opinion IF you have done research on internet and still suspect. Girl has fertile egg stuck in her tubes from ovaries to cervis (Ectopic pregnancy), doctor said it's very rare. Just did a normal scan. She insisted based on her body + things she read... and asked for a better scan and of course, the doctor was wrong (over looked). ALL in all, they saved her in time (it's life threating issue; the mother, not the fetus). Yes the ER doctor bedside manners was shit. ER doc had to eat his own words, sometimes it's good to be educated. ER doctors are good to deal with wham bam thank you madam scrapes and bruises but sometimes i do wish they take the time also. As for you EvoLove.. is your gf religious? A good support group, church, counselling helps a lot. Either to voice it out or have someone help work it thru. We men are losers on trying to solve issues asap, whereas sometimes walking and listening is waht they need. *Yes my gf yells at me everyday saying stop trying to jump in to solve my shit. Stop trying to poke at the story... |

So here's an interesting story. I was talking to this one guy on clubhouse a while back and he basically told me that he met this girl on hinge. He used to live in Boston but moved to alaska for work. Since the selection isn't great in alaska, he set his location for boston, which is where he went for school. He says they virtual dated for 3 months (4-5x per week) and they became official online after about a month of dating lol. Now he's thinking of flying her over to alaska to meet him once the pandemic is over. What are your thoughts on this? The whole arrangement seems a bit unusual to me, but I guess in pandemic times it is not so unusual. |
It's fine. |
I guess I should add that he intends for her to move in with him and start a new life up in alaska lol. A part of me thinks that you should meetup in person first before making big decisions like that because people may behave/look completely different from what they appear on camera. I speak from personal experience haha |
Fuck that, meet her first and actually see if they both get along before planning any move/life change. God man, people are crazy. That reminds me of marrying someone before you even live together. |

That being said, you hear stories about celebs being married but living separately in different houses/condos. It goes against the societal norm that married couples HAVE to live together, but I can definitely see how it can actually benefit a long-term relationship I wonder if there are regular/average people out there who would live separately if the cost of living in separate places wasn't an issue |
internet personality and real life might be two different things. i wouldn't fucking do it, some of the most fucked up bipolar people are the greatest at pretending to be normal til you find later way the hell later in life when a little drama happens. and when you're old as you are and don't have time for any retards feeling like its wasting your time you'll soon want a exit from it all. |
