finasteride. you must be on it for atleast a year... to notice new hair growth be prepared for major hair shedding the first year but worth it.. 1.25 mg a day... make sure to ask for cialis or viagra :alonehappy: |

For anyone Chinese you would have heard your mom say a million times to wear clothing so you won't "lan chun" and catch a cold? I'm like then are you saying homeless people who sleep on the street are sick with the cold like 10 months of the year? |
Gonna bump up this old thread. Early 30's and a few years ago my temples started to go back and within the last year I've noticed that the top of my head is starting to get really thin and that a future cul-de-sac is most likely coming my way. The sides of my head are extremely thick but the top is a bit depressing haha. Reading about finasteride it says around 65% see new hair growth. Anyone able to confirm or have before/after pictures? I've a rather large scar on my head and with my hair thinning out it has me a bit self conscious about it. I know hair won't grow on it but I can at least try to hide it. What's the first step? Visit my Dr. or just google a dermatologist in my and make an apt. to get a possible prescription? Thanks! |

Damn, I'm in this club now (same, 32, never thought it'd happen to me. I had long ass hair last year). Thinning. I might just go with a buzz cut if this biotin doesn't help. If it is stress. I'm meditating more, enjoying the moment and taking biotin/multi every day. I'll report back, but not holding my breath. |
I went on finasteride and in about 3 months I lost a lot of sexual desire. I stopped taking it because I'd rather be bald and fuck than have lots of hair and fuck the same person anyway 4Head |

In those 3 months were there any noticeable changes? I keep reading that if you're starting rogaine it'll make you shed quite a bit until it gets better. Same case with finasteride? |

I looked into minoxodil as well, but you have to take that shit as long as you want it to work, and you have to do it twice a day. Such a pain in the ass, I will just have to live with thinning hair until the time comes to chop it all off. I haven't shaved since the outbreak, so maybe I'll be able to grow a beard... Never tried before so we'll see. If so, I think that would help a lot once I do decide to chop off whatever is left of my hair LUL I've always had a baby face so this aging thing kinda sucks lol |
I'm actually semi-bald (buzzcut), out of choice. I personally like it because I can wake up and not have to think about my hair. Also feels less gross if you sweat a lot. I personally think it looks more clean-cut and professional than to have bed-hair in the morning that makes you look like shit. |
