those gates are supposedly for releasing cars in an organized fashion, so it wouldn't become a gridlock when panic ensues :lol

personally that's just retarded as people who can't drive worth shit will be stuck anyways, and they'll block the entire road regardless

iirc those gates will alternate in opening and closing so there would be less congestion at once ... imo it's a pretty big fail in general

wasnt too bad. if you're not good at understanding code, it can get very confusing. i remember spending a long time writing code for that stupid ass turtle program. exams were easy as hell though.

man i miss taking first year courses.

I haven't taken cmpt165, but from what I hear, 165 is easier than 120.

cmpt 120 is pretty easy. turtle code is pretty much in plain english. i had edgar, good guy.

Ahah did you guys get the "test" text a couple weeks ago? I got mine at exactly 12:30 pm, but my friend didn't get his till like 1.5 hours later... apparently some of us are more important than others :p

Has anyone taken STATS 302 before? Yea yea, call me crazy but it seems like a GPA booster for me haha.

CMPT 165 isn't full which is surprising...but if I need help, I have no one to turn to which is a huge risk if I'm taking that course haha....:cry:

@CRS, your in it right now or your taking it in the spring? The spring semester has 1 lecture and 1 tutorial...which is weird.. anyone know how it works?

@Yushimi, I guess I could help you if you need help in CMPT165, but the professor (g.baker) is really helpful. You can basically ask him for help after the lectures and he will gladly help you :P

Are you taking CRIM101 in spring? Lolz, I might take it with you if you are...ugh. I hate it when all my friends are taking something different than me. It's so depressing knowing that you know no one in that class :(

Taking it in the spring. So I will be in class with you if you decide to choose it.

^It's weird how the tutorial and lecture = the same thing since theres only 1 tutorial class for 1 lecture... it's going to be interesting... 3 hours of sitting.. :(

taking it right now with brad mcneney, 5 assignments, 1 mt, 1 final. most of us have no clue about what the hell is going on, but the midterm was pretty similar to a practice one he gave out. homework in groups, most of it you need to use "R" for. messed up on my mt, so i'm hoping to do good for the 50(+30 if you do better than your mt) % final :)

im taking it right now. Yes, you have to endure the lecture for 3 hours with the whole class. he does give breaks in bwtween.

I hate R. Omg...Lolz, we're getting tested on R codes for our final because our class average in 201 is too high. It's totally BS.

CRIM101, CMPT 165, STATS302 are all from 12:30-w/e. Holy fuck. FML.

Do they tell you ahead of time about the quizzes? Odd thing is that this spring is 1 lecture and 1 tutorial. Does that mean the lecture and tutorial are combined into one long ass 3 hr lecture? Lolz...
