theres always a quiz in tutorial. Like every week. The quizzes are just based on the readings. There are 10 readings? so you are pretty much reading the whole book. Some chapters range from 9 pages - 50 pages.

Dont buy the textbook, you can if you want, but its ALMOST the same as the lecture notes. Just buy the tutorial book

anyone take econ 105 with eldar sehic? if i take it with him i can get mondays off.

however, i got a bus 254 tutorial on friday at 10:30am in surrey, but econ105 lecture w/ sehic is on wed and friday. i can make it to the wed lecture no problem but the one on friday is at 8:30-10:20am in bby. would i be missin out on important stuff if i didnt go to sehic's lecture?

Yea...but I suck at presentations lolz. I'm not the best at memorizing either haha. I might be taking CMPT165 instead :( Let's just say...anything with memorization = Yushimi isn't very smart/doesn't get a good mark

so i have 3 exams on a saturday, my prof for the exam in between isn't letting my take the exam at another time. Who do I contact about this and does anyone have a link to the policy that states that students are entitled to a break in between exams? :S so far I only have a 30 minute break in between each one.

I don't think there's anything stating that a student cannot have 3 exams on one day... and they tell you when you register, so technically it was your decision.

I'd contact the professors anyways and see if one might be sympathetic, but I wouldn't get your hopes up. If you're well prepared... you should be fine.

@carsncars + The_AK: There is a policy at SFU where you cannot have more than 2 exams on the same day within 24 hours or something like that. I would definately contact someone in academic advising and see if there is anything to do. Also, if you think you may do poorly because you have such an overload, I think there is some kind of service where u can ask them to spread out the workload for you or something...

Awesome... I had no idea there was such a policy! The only rule like that I knew about was the "if you have one exam at one campus followed by another exam at another campus":

^Wait, am I right? cause, I only heard it from a friend who complained because he has that situation but instead of 24 hours, his is 21 hours or something so he has 3 exams in 2 days or something, I don't know, its something confusing like, 2 exams in the same day, followed by a 3rd exam in less than 24 hours then you get to pick 1 exam to take at another time?

I don't think there's any rule for 3 exams in 2 days. I've done it many times (at least every term)... probably your friend just got some sympathy from his/her profs?
