The reason why christoph is a retard:

1) You do not come with the prior knowledge to solve or understand most of the crap he talks about. When you ask him in office hrs, he brushes you off.

2) His tests, examples, notes, book do not provide any preparation for his tests.

3) His in ability to teach the simplest concepts is mind boggling. You pretty much teach yourself with your friends.

4) Not surprisingly, the T.A.'s are useless in this course.


The calculus is not hard. I think everyone can agree on that one. But when you are given functions that you have not seen in class, notes, in the book, then we have a problem.

I absolutely loved how he got RAPED today in class trying to solve his own problem. Felt so good to see him angry and fustrated. His wife is horrific as well.

I hope SFU tells him to concentrate on publishing papers and leave the teaching to someone else.

Tech 120 is obviously different from Cmpt 120 right? Lol

^You weren't the only one missing. A good half of the class was missing. Last 10-15 mins was evaluation. We took about 2 pages worth of notes.

+1 on Akbar sucking... I had him for 103 in the summer. The guy's so lazy... I had him as my TA too and basically our tutorial consisted of him referring us to the textbook. Once I think he forgot to mark our midterms so he just didn't show up. His lectures are okay.

Didn't Akbar retire? Yes, both are not very good professors but Akbar is known as the GPA booster. His assignments are identical to his tests.

I wouldn't worry too much about 103 though- it is a very easy course. Eldar is good, so is Allen.

Yeah Akbar's class isn't hard... just, Allen is better. With Akbar I ended up mostly learning from the textbook and TAs.
