I didn't draw shit when I took iat100. It was camera, photoshop, flash. The lowest mark in the class was a B - all you have to do is finish the assignments are you're set.

^You listened to the wrong person.
You can go and bitchslap he/she upside and tell them to live in a dumpster in one of the back alley's of Main and Hastings because that's all their worth in life if they're going to be passing on falsified information.

You most likely won't find a spot unless you get there early in the morning though. Eastlake Drive is also a good option; ample parking spots and there's a bus stop there so you don't have to trek back to Production Stn. The first time I parked at Eastlake Dr. was a pretty fun experience; I was the only passenger on the bus |

ohh
I'm in IAT 100 too. I got scared by the first lecture cause it sounded so much harder than how everybody describes as a GPA booster.
I got experience with photoshop and flash so I think I can do it.
I just don't know anybody in my lab so when it comes to group projects, I'm kinda screwed.
Oh btw, I think I saw yushimi walk into my lab @ 10:30 today and walk out lol.
I hope IAT 100 is as easy as CMPT 165, though it requires way more work.. =(
I think CMPT 150 this summer is with Brad Bart, I had Brad for cmpt 120 before and I didn't really like him. I had Tony Dixon last term for 150. 150 is kinda hard and it uses some stuff from MACM 101. It requires a lot of work but I managed to pull a B+ in it.

I like Bart, hes kinda an asshole, but he is a good teacher.
Hopefully it doesnt use too much from MACM, cause i havent taken that one yet. It said it was only recommended.

I didnt know so many of you guys were in my class in fall with Bart. I did really well on everything and only ended up with an A-.
As for MACM, have fun. I heard Bart is the best one to take that with, so I'm waiting for him to teach it before i take it.
Are you doing the joint business/comp sci degree? | ya well I jus took MACM 101 now wit Pearce.. So far day 1 it's been crazy.. I dunno if i should drop it for another class. I only took it with him because without MACM101 ur put behind.. as many classes require or reccommend you already have taken it....

I noticed in my break between 12:-2 it's freaking packed!!! The hallway was packed with people.. but just during those times in the early afternoon.

Im hoping Bart teaches it next semester, because now a lot of my courses have it as a requirement. Really not looking forward to it though.

First class to last class were horrible.
Look around your class, if pearce starts asking question, start to observe if your class knows the stuff. If they don't know the stuff, you are fine because midterms and final will have a low average. Typically around 50%. If you think you can study a bit more than others and beat the average, you are fine.
One good thing about pearce is that he cancelled 2 classes when he was sick and basically took out the last chapter we had to learn.
His writing is really ugly lol, which made me wanted to drop it too.
As for CMPT 150, the only macm recommended should be the use of the Laws.
For example. Demogan's.. Idempotent? Complement law and a few others.
You are certainly fine without macm 101 as well and my friend didn't have it too.
