Ya I was looking at his writing.. I could barley read it. He had some notes he wroe earlier on paper and god.. I could NOT read the formulas... I had 2 guess half of them. I hope they are re-written in the book. All I know is I was pretty lost on the 1st day of classes. I haven't checked if anyone has dropped it yet.

The way I see it I might just push through it and see what happens. I mean I need this class and i rather not wait. I still have to take Macm 201, Math 151, 153?(the next calculas class). So I can't really hold back right now.

If I fail it.. at least I'll know "something" and hopefully do better later.

I looked up most of the Macm 101 classes. Only a few profs teach them. Mostly Pearce, Dixxon?(online) and another guy? I forgot his name.

Those are the main guys.

As for the class.. I couldn't tell if they were confused or not. I suppose so, because a lot of us haven't taken Calculas yet. I think only 50% or less have taken it.

YOU SUCK, move to my tutorial (Fri 8:30am) lolz that guy is nice. Just ask him :) Doesn't hurt to ask..I don't know anyone in my tutorial either..it's full of .... fobby people who doesn't look like they know wtf they're doing...

I took macm 101 at the same time as I took math151. To me, math doesn't really help macm at all. As for the teachers, my friends took macm 101 with another teacher and apparently the average marks for that class was super high. Like 70% range. So I think taking it with a crappy prof would make the whole class average low and you'll pass for sure.

He'll tell you whats on the midterm and make sure you write it down. It will be on the midterm. You can probably go google the answers and just memorize them as well. That what I did for the final for one of the questions lol.

Some of the proofs are in the book and some are not. He re words them very badly. Sometimes he can't even read his own stupid writing. Thats how sad it gets... and he'll start guessing words too.

Good luck with math 151 and 152. Those pulled my gpa down.. got C both times =(

my friend is in your iat lab @ 8:30. It's too early lol.. I can't wake up that early and I got class @ 9:30 so it conflicts as well.

As for math.. i heard of Math 150? Supposed to be like 151, but easier and made for students who are new to Calculas. I hear for my program they may allow it now instead of 151... but I'll have to see. Apparently it has a better passing level than 151? They review during the 1st half and then learn the 2nd half.

I heard for math 150, instead of having a slight review on the first day for math 151. They review for the first week and then start doing the same stuff.

I think most programs you can replace math 150 with 151. You can also replace an easier Math 157 only if you get a B in that class.

a friend told me they are planning on getting rid of G lot all together in the long run and building more residences/housing :\ if this is true then WTF!! theres already hardly any parking as it is, especially during fall/spring semesters
