pretty much any of the upper education courses. cmns 375 i heard was a breeze too

Alphamale 06-26-2010 06:48 PM

Upper level elective crim courses are usually pretty easy.

G 06-26-2010 10:06 PM

crim315.....hopefully I can take it in fall semester

Ikkaku 06-26-2010 10:34 PM

^ highly advised! if you don't take it, it is definitely your loss LOL

Jer3 06-26-2010 11:20 PM

highly recommend crim 355 DE as well. pretty easy. looking at a B minimum if you put in the least bit of effort. weekly discussion, mt, 1 paper and a final. not bad overall.

typ. 06-26-2010 11:54 PM

^ do you need any previous crim knowledge?

dunno about pre-reqs but it requires no previous crim knowledge.

Alphamale 06-27-2010 07:17 AM

pre-reqs for 300 elective courses is generally just 60 credits.

Ikkaku 06-27-2010 11:10 PM

315 and 355 would be the UD crim courses that don't have any crim pre-reqs

BD2002 06-28-2010 02:28 PM

July 27th. Pretty much FTL.

Taking Easc 104 and Geog 162 this semester.

FTMFL.

What did ya'll think of the Econ301 midterm today?

hsh4 06-28-2010 07:34 PM

hey im just wondering how course registration dates are assigned because i heard it was by credits /gpa but some first years are choosing before second year students...

Strzelec 06-28-2010 07:43 PM

All first years will be choosing before second years. Second years get totally screwed since they are in the middle of their degree and are the most flexible. Priority are first years and people about to graduate (+scholarship students)

I thought it was ok...I'm pretty sure I didn't fail. I did really well on the quiz so hopefully that meant I understand the material at some degree...lol ><

Salzuberg 06-29-2010 12:23 AM

I'm actually planning to take Econ301 next sem., its gonna be taught by Christoph Lulfesmann, anyone know if he's any good?
I was just reading ratemyprof, not very much good comments seem to be posted there(abt half the class failing midterms...etc), cause I don't know if I should just wait until the next sem. for another prof....

Alphamale 06-29-2010 02:01 AM

^Don't be a fucking pussy and just take it. It's not likely anyone else will teach it, he's the 301 go-to-prof. And his wife will fuck you in the ass in 302, she's the go-to-prof for that course.

ASG111 06-29-2010 02:34 AM

so... question, what are bursaries? Are they like scholarships or grants where you have to repay after? If they're like scholarships, what are the differences?

CRS 06-29-2010 07:19 AM

You don't have to repay scholarships afterwards...

Alphamale 06-29-2010 07:57 AM

You don't have to repay bursaries either...

But I'm not absolutely sure on the difference between them.

RFlush 06-29-2010 08:08 AM

Scholarships are based off academic merit while bursaries are based off financial need.

ASG111 06-29-2010 08:29 AM

what really? so you can apply for bursaries and not repay them? so you can pretty much go through your education for free?
