What is the above amount of gasoline? If it has 5.85L of gas, wouldn't it simply be able to travel 62.137 miles?

5.85 L/100KM .... so say it has "X Liters" of Fuel

"X Liters"/5.85 = How many multiples of 100 miles it can go. Multiply that number by 100 and its your answer in KM. Then convert to miles with google.

What you did is wrong. You can't divide a Kilometer unit by a mile unit, it doesnt work that way. Convert units at the end or convert your L/100km into Miles per Liter.

And dhillon09, what is your answer then?

I did...

5.85L x 100KM = ANS
100KM 62.137miles

So the units are cancelling out. Or at least i thought it was.

I'm scared of cmpt 150, prereq is macm 101.. (with steven pearce) I thought I was going to fail that course but it turns out i did ok... C+

Has anyone taken poli sci 101W? How is it? I'm debating whether to take it or take EDUC 100W at downtown and drag my days even longer... =[

I need an easy W course or an easy alternative for poli sci. Government stuff doesn't really interest me (hated socials studies 11)

His quizes are from boundary readings and not from lectures themselves...

He always gave us time to finish copying the notes, your using the uncomplete notes he gives you right? If you have a laptop, use it, so much faster.

Even if you write by hand, you should have enough time to copy them out if you are filling in his half-completed notes.

but you're only solving for how many multiples of 100 you can go in the above equation.


5.85/100KM is how many liters you need to go 100 kilometer. I don't know if I understood correctly, but its 5.85/100KM an efficiency (fuel consumption rate) or is it how much fuel you have?

From my understanding,

you have a fuel efficiency rating
you have a fuel amount
and they ask you how far you can go with this fuel amount, correct?

I don't see in your original post where the fuel amount is or maybe I'm just being a dummy ....

If you have Maryam Ali for 237, the lectures are just repeating the textbook pretty much. I went to only 2 lectures, the first one and the one before the midterm, and I ended up with an A in the class.

And if I was ranked one spot higher in the class, I would've had an A+... ffffffuuuuuu

his quizzes are based on the boundaries reader..no lecture notes required
just read the reader prior to class and you should be good..PLUS its i-clicker quiz..just cheat off ur neighbour :D

Bought a brand new book from the bookstore with small rip on the very last page of the textbook which is blank. (Found out after I opened it at home)

Went back to bookstore to return it and the people won't refund it since they thought I ripped it :@
