I took them all in separate terms but taking cmpt 225 + cmpt 250 is hell..

Am I the only one that feels kind of stuck on a dead end path at sfu? I'm in science .. and I gotta say, I really think my future looks dim at this point in time, at sfu atleast.

I'm in science and I'm kinda screwed. If I want to transfer to UBC, in order to get my marks high enough, I can't apply yet and will have to apply for September 2012, which means I'd have to take a year off to avoid going over 60 credits.

If I apply now I won't get in because I'm slightly below the marks cut off.


I'm pretty upset about that, but that's life I guess. SFU science degrees are not a dead end, but I guess I'll just have to put in a lot of effort to get anywhere and be willing to go to buttfucknowhere for grad school.


Sigh, today was a frustrating ass day, I have one of these before every midterm week lol. Off to bed I go.

i felt like that too. so i took a year off and went to capilano U instead for change. im still at sfu more than cap tho cuz i like studying there. applying for UBC pharmacy in a month. i feel its better than taking my chances with a degree

I'm in 158 and I have the same problem. Its not that the teacher is bad, but he is INCREDIBLY slow. A few weeks into the course and we have barely done anything. In 2 hours of lecture, he covered 2 sections of the book. They could have easily been covered in 30 minutes. Mind you I'm not really complaining, less work for me.

Fuck mondays. One 50 minute lecture that takes an hour to get to and an hour to get home from....

i think us in richmond have it worse. 1 hour 20-30 1 way to school by transit.

I got vids/pics on the guy beside me eating his binder today... Same guy who ate an entire box of oreos last week. Should I post them or is that wrong..?

something like taking the Canada Line to broadway city hall, and taking some bus to commercial, and then millenium line to production ---> 145 up sfu?

The canada line from RC to city hall is almost 20 mins and the bus from city hall to commercial is a little more than 10 mins. Then skytrain from commercial to production is almost 20mins and another 10 mins to sfu by bus. add another 10 - 15 mins of walking/waiting for bus/skytrain etc. and it's not really any faster than just canada line + 135

Someone recommend me something to eat in Surrey Campus.. other than Taco Bell and TnT. Been eating only at those 2 places for the past 4 weeks lol

Safeway has their lunch deal, 4.50 for a pop, fries and chicken.

New Town Bakery has steam buns, cheap,and always fresh.

Ho Do has lunch specials if you want fancy chinese food cheap.

Theres Top King's which is way cheaper than TnT and pretty much tastes the same.

Then theres your McD's and Burger King. Most of the stuff IN the mall isn't that great, you have to walk for the good stuff.
