This. I took 251 with MacDonald last summer in 3520 at 8:30am, fell asleep every lecture. The lighting in that room is really dim, which didn't help me stay awake, and accounting lectures aren't exactly engaging. Ended up not going at all, because it was so useless and I would rather sleep in. >_>

Taking BUS 254 this term, haven't gone to lectures as well. I just can't make it through without losing my mind.

302 is awesome and the material relates to all kinds of very realistic situations. Maybe it’s ‘cause I took it with Kessler last Fall. Definitely one of the best profs at SFU!

Are you guys doing adverse selection, screening and the like now?

I really found adverse selection to be like all the Econ jackasses ‘self-selecting’ themselves into the Akbar’s classes.

Screening was more like the rape tests in the weed out Econ classes where you get rid of all the shit saying Dadson/Akbar’s THE shit. But it’s all for a good purpose!!! Keep the dumbasses around for their first 3 years to keep the averages low – trust me that does help in getting easy As. And then weed them out like yesterday’s garbage in their 4th year to make my degree less useless when looking for jobs.

AQ3181 has really comfy seats IMO, and the lighting is equally awful.

Most of Burnaby's lecture halls are awful though, I definitely don't miss them in the slightest. The Saywell Hall/Blusson Hall lecture theatres are good though, as is Images Theatre. /surreystudent
