Without RS for a few hours, I was able to get 90% of my paper done. Now that it's back....... it will take a long, long time to get the rest of the 10% finished. *clicks on shit I missed* |

I Don't want to get into any controversy argument about universities, but in my mind, it is kind of boring since we are not experiencing the "college life" we expect. We attend school and get off school. basically that's it and that's how its gonna be, unless you're very proactive and join clubs, do sports and etc. There is some other factors like better programs and professors, but that's just a part of it. |

most of us went the university route to please our parents...if I had another chance I would say eff that and go to BCIT..university is not for me... |

By the end of my second semester I was on AP and was going to get kicked out if I failed/got a C- in one more class lol. Was a bit of a wake up call, and now I'm in the rebound (thankfully). BOT isn't a big deal, I'd just pay the $300 or whatever and have the insurance of knowing if something catastrophic happens I'm not completely screwed, but I guess having that insurance would make me think "if i fail its not a big deal" lol. I'm trying to figure out a way to get less depressed/unmotivated when I stay at school. I think its the commute that just kills me and saps all of my energy before I even get to school. How many of you guys have friends you hang out with at school consistently? no ":alone:" jokes, its actually interesting to see because I think SFU promotes a solitary environment because there's no big group silent study areas/no nice areas open late etc. etc. |

Tbh the material so far hasn't been too hard in my first year, not as hard as I expected it to be (also high school misconceptions), but in the end I have no drive to learn it, it takes me a little over an hour to get to school and that's part of it for sure, agree with whoever said you just want to leave asap. Worst thing is none of my good high school friends came here and it's hard to maintain those friendships. SFU IS WRINGING ME DRY!!! |
