Accounting exam tomorrow at 8:30AM (seriously on a fucking Saturday????). Read the whole textbook /notes and have totally forgotten everything already. I guess I'll be seeing Nicole Tomasetti's massive biceps again in the fall.

My friend applied this past cycle and got a job at LIDC so it's definitely possible... are you confident in your cover letter/resume?

Ugh my final yesterday had like 27 MC questions... and the final was worth 45%. 1 mark = more than 1% of my grade, WTF? Also the way he writes his tests, if you don't understand one bit of code you're screwed for the whole section of MC questions.

Also, I got the worst mark of my undergraduate career yesterday. :(

Is anyone else having a problem with SFU SIS?
It says im not enrolled in any of my classes anymore and i dont have access to enrollment either.

G 05-01-2011 11:27 PM

^I can't even log in. But don't worry, SFU always fucks up. Just wait for tomorrow morning and it will all be fixed.

wuuhoo 05-06-2011 08:22 AM

hey i need some opinion on my scheduling for summer specifically econ 103 and 105

option 1: have econ 103 in the morning (830-1020) and (830-920) then have econ 103 the same days (630-820) (630-720)

I do this for mon and wed, but I get thrus and fri off. The good part is that the final exam is two days apart

option 2 is to take it on different days
econ 103 on mon and wed and econ 105 on wed and thrus

but final exam is on the same day

if you were in my shoes, what option would you take?

Gilgamesh 05-06-2011 09:04 AM

I would do option 1 since it allows for cushion room between the exam times. If however, you know you're not comfortable going to school at night (as in cannot concentrate that late in the day), then consider the 2nd option and do not procrastinate of the week of the final exams.

bcedhk 05-06-2011 09:49 AM

i personally would have done econ 103 and 105 in diff semesters. Both require tons of practice/reading if you want to get good marks.

I had 103 105 in the same semester and barely passed 105 because it was way too much studying.

wuuhoo 05-06-2011 09:54 AM

these are retakes so i do remember most of what I learned + I still have some notes from these classes

Im leaning more on option 2, but I dont know what kind of stress Im putting myself through if both are on the same day for final exam

d1 05-06-2011 11:15 AM

awesome summer weather + night classes just don't mix
