I think it's actually 3 tickets before they lock your wheel. (Says on the back of all 3 of my current tickets)

If you leave a bunch of old tickets on your dash, some attendants are to lazy to check em all. Parked under Convo Mall 3 times on separate occasions (for the whole day) before I finally got a ticket.

There is street parking along where Univercity is. It's 2hr limit from like 8am to 8pm and free on the weekend. This IS NOT patrolled by SFU security, the parking is enforced by City of Burnaby and most the time they will not come all the way up to SFU = Free parking all day.

The con is that its like 10 min walk to upper bus loop

When I lefted, I saw them patrolling the area.

My advice, if you are going to park there for 1-3hrs, it should be fine. But anyhting over 3hr+ be careful

Who did you see patrolling the area? the SFU rent-a-cops? They go up that way, but they have no authority to say anything to you if you're parked infront of the condos. They only go there to check the section with the big yellow signs that say "CONSTRUCTION VEHICLE PARKING ONLY" and all the vehicles parked there have permits on the dash, they check those cars only.

I routinely leave my car parked there anywhere from 4 hours all the way upto 16 hours when I'm studying for exams lol. Not one single ticket. Think about it, they'd have to come allll the way up the mountain, look at your car, leave, and come allll the way back. I doubt they've got man power to waste.

Got my first ticket at SFU in my dad's car, It was raining today and my ticket was all wet!
