There are no such thing as shortcuts at SFU. It's a prison. :p

reminds me of this meme lol.

Need some help here guys... CMPT minor and I'm not sure what to take next semester to finish my minor.

Right now I have 4 CMPT courses lined up, and need only 3.

1. CMPT 320, Mon 5:30-8:20 w/ Steven Pearce (I'm pretty sure I'm taking this one)

2. CMPT 371, MWF 2:30-3:20 w/ Jiangchuan Liu (Course description seems hard)

3. CMPT 376, Tue 5:30-8:20 w/ Arthur Liestman

4. CMPT 470, Thu 6:30-9:20 w/ Gregory Baker

On top of that I have Econ 302 to take Mon 12:30-2:20 and Wed 12:30-1:20, suggestions? Are there other courses to take into consideration? Mind you I don't have to take any mandatory stuff like MACM 201 or CMPT 307.

That is one of the problems I'm facing, the 302 prof is still tba. I have the option of kicking that course to Spring semester because there is no convo in Spring and I have to wait till Summer anyways.

I've heard 302 with Kessler is *MUCH* easier than with Monte or anyone else and also uses a lot less math. Just in lectures it feels like she's running a concentration camp. True?

d1 07-10-2011 08:41 PM

I'm taking 302 with monte this semester and its been good. Compared to 301, 302 is nothing (so far).

Registration for my last semester in SFU is coming up and I need two easy distance ed electives. Suggestions? I only have one required course left and need two lower div just for the sake of credits. I want this to be the slackest semester EVAR.

lower or upper div? id suggest educ 465 DE. that course is easy as hell if you can write halfway decent. the distribution of the class was something like 70% of the class fell in the over A range.

edit. oh nm just saw u need 2 lower div. it isnt stupid easy but crim 101 DE is pretty easy as well as most of the 100 level crims.

neggo 07-11-2011 10:28 AM

^ All I need is 10 credits to complete my degree. My last required course is upper div, so all I'll have remaining is 6 credits. But I'll probably take that course if it's that easy, lol. Extra credits won't hurt.

d1 07-11-2011 10:31 AM

educ 351 was really easy as well

I need an easy B-soc, anyone?

buffon 07-14-2011 03:23 PM

Anyone take Econ 103 and 105 together in the same term? Are they hard? Would be a bad idea to take both at the same time?

I wouldn't suggest it. If you take one first, the other will be easier.

Actually, it's a "her".

I was reading her dissertations and shit.

:lol

G 07-14-2011 11:47 PM

Educ 465. Is she good CRS?

It says that there is a take-home Midterm and Final exam. Never had experiences in take-home exams, but it seems like a do-your-work-and-get-ace-it type of deal...

Also, I heard you read Harry Potter in this class too :fullofwin: Truth?
