Pay attention in class and study what they tell you to study and you will do fine.

From what I heard, the first time he taught econ305, he had a class average of 80%.

From when I took 103 with him, he had the same practice midterm as the actual midterm, with the same spelling mistakes, and the same repeating double question. During the actual midterm, he just told us to skip it.

lol he did the mt thing with our 210 class. exact same as the assignment 1 but with very minor changes. i dont think akbar is suited for small classroom settings. wonder if he picks on ppl in those classes like how he did in our 200 ppl lectures lol

Bus 237 is fucking easy. The midterm mostly had questions about the different parts and components of a computer. The exams are pretty much the ones from the test bank. There's a group project too but it is simple enough.

Bus 251 is straight forward but don't fall behind. It does pile up quick. If the class is still using WileyPlus, take note of your answers on your first quiz attempt so your second is easier.

oh forgot to suggest another easy upper div elective. crim 301 is easy as hell too. boyanowsky is the funniest prof ever. brings up sex stories at the most random points in class lol. i remember him going on for 10 minutes about how a dj somewhere in the states was getting a bj on the dancefloor and was arrested for it or something.

GEOG Minor here (Business Major)

SFU GEOG profs. are probably the most passionate and best profs. teaching at the university.

I recommend Geoff Mann and Eugene McCann

Anyways, does anyone want a spot in BUS 207?

Courses next semester: BUS254, BUS237, BUS 303, GEOG 386

postcode 07-28-2011 10:10 PM

hey do any of you guys know, if you can get from the burnaby campus to the surrey campus, under an hour?

FI-Z33 07-28-2011 10:20 PM

^ yup. 30 min or so (same time to drive there and to skytrain)

i had 2 classes that had a 1 hour gap between them...i managed to both either skytrain/drive with no problem!

Are you taking Bus 312 with Blazenko? I had him last semester and I found the class to be fairly difficult.

Are you taking 275 with Herbert? I hope you don't have a job cause you are going to want to shit kick yourself later with that course load.

BUS 312 is math intensive, and you'll have two large projects to deal with in BUS 343 and CMPT 275. People actually recommend taking 275 by itself or with a light course load.

Want to know why I know? I'm taking CMPT 275, 300, 354 right now, with BUEC 333 thrown in for good measure, and I work 30hours a week. Last 5 weeks have been.... hectic.
