He said no practice exams are available online. But you can do the MyMISLab ones. They're pretty easy and I'm sure they dun goof'd on some of the questions.

the practices quiz questions doesnt make sense,
chapter 3 question 19,
19) A company's strategy is influenced by the competitive structure of the company's industry.
the answer is false but in the lecture notes she clearly states it is influenced by the competitive structure -________-

/ 1 Strong position, claim or thesis statement
/ 2 Evidence (minimum 1 direct quote) and explanation of theoretical
understanding from Nodelman and Reimer
/ 2 Evidence (minimum of 2 direct quotes) and discussion from required text
/ 1 Quality of writing (style, grammar, APA format, length)
/ 6 TOTAL
my TM was pretty lenient when marking. just make sure u get in the required amount of quotes. its hard and u might have to paraphrase the shit out of it to make the 250 word count but they are essential. i believe i lost 1 mark in 1 question when i left out a quote and ended up with 29/30 on the mt |

It could be different with your prof now but hopefully this helps.

WHY do profs send out un-editable ppt slides with black backgrounds & dark pictures, while having hardly any text?

Did the MT yesterday and it was friggin' tricky.

Anyone here taking/have taken Math 155?
Do I really need a B in their prerequisite courses? I'm taking 154 currently and kinda worried that I won't get the B grade and have to take it again.
MATH 155-3 Calculus II for the Biological Sciences
Designed for students specializing in the biological and medical sciences. Topics include: the integral, partial derivatives, differential equations, linear systems, and their applications; mathematical models of biological processes. Prerequisite: MATH 150, 151 or 154; or MATH 157 with a grade of at least B. Students with credit for MATH 152 or 158 may not take MATH 155 for further credit. Quantitative.

Dude that semi colon means the last sentence applies only to math 157. If you took math 150, 151, or 154 and got a passing mark (C- or higher, I think) that's enough to get into math 155, however if you took math 157, you need at least a B in it to take math 155.

And 300 with Crespi is super easy as long as you attend lecture/tutorial.

Our Econ 355 TAs are awesome: they accused 5 % of the class of cheating on the MT. Cheaters have to write a letter of apology to qualify for the lesser punishment - get 0 on the MT. Otherwise, they could get kicked out...
