Like someone said earlier, if you keep up with the readings, it's not too bad. You don't need to have an intensive science background to do well. You will have to input your diet into a program for an individual project but it's not too bad. You can probably find a torrent of the program somewhere too.

I didn't even describe about the hard drive. I just picked a business computer from memory express and that was it. I hope they are not going that specific. Did you guys get a monitor and mouse for the server? I am just planning to do it through remote access (is that even possible)
