Anyone ever had a tight schedule where they had to commute via buses and skytrain from the Burnaby campus to the Surrey campus on the same day? Reason for my asking is that I have a class at SFU Burnaby ending at 11:30AM and class at SFU Surrey starting at 12:30PM and I'm wondering if I could make it on time for 12:30PM class.

Has anyone actually been successfully placed into a full UD econ course when they see an advisor?

Just leave your 11:30 am class 5-10 minutes early and haul ass to the main bus loop otherwise if it's a wednesday you'll be packed into a nasty steamy 145 bus.

If you've got no option, the 144 (Metrotown) can save you tons of time if there's massive bus lineups. It'll take you to spirling burnaby lake, and the train will be less packed as not many students are on it (especially if you're headed to surrey). Definitely doable.

I had that once and was never late for my Surrey class although you may have to go to the bus loop at Cornerstone just to get on a bus down. IIRC it takes about 40-50 minutes to get from BBY to SUR with wait times.

I'm going to get screwed over for a class again just like how I did last year. I enrolled for an open lecture, but wait listed tutorial. Apparently there's always more lecture spots than tutorial spots, september came around and I got dropped from the class.

I'm on waitlist for this MBB class that I need to take and the only tutorial conflicts with my chem class, raaage!

4 more pages left for my paper and im running out of ideas...

Anyone take Econ 103 and 105 in the same term? Is it a bad idea? Any good profs for them?

Should be fine, first 5 chapters are basically the same.

Apparently it is easy... friends are taking it as gpa booster. I'm considering it between Cmpt 165. I need to take Econ 105, would David Cox or Seong-Choi be a better choice? BUS 272/254 is nearly full and my enrolment date is on Friday. :okay:
