Man we had like 30-40 mins to do that quiz. It wasn't enough at all. I"m just happy that I got above average.

Took asc101 and asc102. Requires a bit of reading, but nothing too crazy.
Lectures are 3 hours and super boring. Exams were pretty easy if you attend lectures and keep up with your readings.

I got a spot for 254. Let me know if you're interested.

My enrollment date was on the 7th. First pick = awesome schedule every semester

It was super easy for me. I got an A+ and I tutor people for it now. Hopefully, I'll get to TA for Anne Macdonald next semester.

Yeah, I didn't take any BUS courses yet. I want to take Econ 105 with Cox, but the exam date conflicts with Bus 272, so I'm looking at other Bus courses to take.

I got above avg too but that quiz was insane. I talked to my TA afterwards and he said he did it in 25 min no problem.

Since most of you are taking bus/econ, which one of the first year BUS courses are easier?

Out of Bus 237,251,272

I hear BUEC 232 is pretty hard. I know I'm going to have to take them all if I decide to change my major, but I just want to try a few courses to see I'm interested.

Hey buffon, I am taking all 3 of them right now. I didn't even bother getting the OB textbook cause all he does is follow the things from the slides. If anything.. just google it online and you'll get all your information there.

Accounting is awesome, daily quizzes but take it as learning another language.. you need constant drilling and understand everything to do well. You will need to go to office hours and do your homework.

MIS is good. I've skipped most part of my lecture because all you do is sit around and she'll recite the entire lecture notes. So there's not really much of a point. Weekly quizzes which isn't too hard. All you need to know is the basics of computer. it's pretty straightforward. I can't imagine anyone failing that class.

If you can't get the textbook from haha13, get it from me (i have the mis, accounting)

haha13, what are you trying to get into? (or where you are in right now)

Thanks a lot guys. Good info there.

I guess it's just a matter of which courses I can get into now since they're all full lol

I'm sure I'll buy textbooks from you guys if I can get a spot.

I was planning to go into business (2nd degree)
but i'm thinking of working towards MBA through GDBA (graduate diploma) instead.

I got my first degree of history and criminology. That didn't help me get a business job at all. haha i wonder why.

Does anyone know if I can reschedule a final exam if I have both on the same day? Ie: 8:30-11:30 exam in Burnaby, and one at 12:00 in Surrey? I'm considering taking Arch131 next semester but it conflicts with Econ 105

I am taking Econ103 with Allen right now, and I regret it because I have to wake up at 6:30 to bus for his classes. As a prof, I think he's okay.. Midterm is all written versus m/c + written for Idudnyk.
