Honestly, my plan for post-sec was to do a degree in the sciences, 2 of my buddies also were planning the same and I guess MBB just seemed to fit the bill...Now in my fourth year I can say that even though it can be pretty tough sometimes I enjoy the material...cell biology, disease/cancer, immunology, I like the material and I seem to do well in it too.
222 i think is sort of a general intro into the world of mbb...400 level courses become more specific such as protein structure, I'm not sure if you'll enjoy 222 depends your prof(i remember it being hella boring), but it's not that difficult. | I'm actually very interested in immunology/cell biology/etc. I even volunteered in a mbb lab over the summer (when stuff got kinda crazy I had to stop going, but i want to start going again). I guess next semester will kinda decide what I end up doing ... Going to have almost ~70 credits and still just doing a general bachelors of science
Calc final tomorrow. Don't know if i've studied enough/not enough. I remember weird shit that we covered like 2 months ago and go re-learn it lol. Stressed, but I really really want to do well.
And yes its hard to get good grades at SFU, but if you want A's its a PITA anywhere. I will say going from a C to a B is a huge jump in effort (from my experience). |
