Well, she just recites everything in the lectures.. (no point going to lectures)
I find her exams to be fair ( just study hard and beat the curve )
Assignments are tedious though (Both profs have the same curriculum)

I know some guy that's doing 302, 305 and 333 this semester so I'm sure its possible.
If anything, take 301 apart from the others, its the first HARD econ course imo, so you will need some getting used to. All that 103/105, 260, 291 whatever are so easy. Even 355 342 etc are easy.

@wuuhoo
A friend of mine did 301 and 305. Asked him how was it and he said if he had the chance he wouldn't do it again.
If you want to take 2 of those courses i wouldn't recommend doing more than 3 courses in a sem (2+ an elective maybe?)

The Ta's should have waited until everyone had one and then started timing from there, or put the exams out on the seats before hand, that's how my math exams were like. Their method of handing out the exams was so slow, I was near the front and I wasn't getting my exam anytime soon until they finally said fuck it. | you know what I take that back, the course was especially hard with Flowers. Seems like everyone I run into from class complained.

You have to apply online. On the application form, you include all your resume references, schedule and the top 4 courses you would like to TA for. I think you need atleast an A- to apply. If they like you, they'll email you back telling you which class you are TAing and how many sections.
Applications ended mid November.

they say the minimum is A- but its pretty rare that they'll accept you with A-. Its usually A or A+

If you want into Mech you have to decide now because you'll be starting in Surrey. If you're interested in those other programs, the first year is pretty much common to all five options and you don't have to commit to a specific one until some time in second year. IDK what you mean by "best"... depends on what interests you/what your career goals are.

BUS 237, BUS 251, BUS 272 = Incredibly easy, just study. 251 is the hardest of the three, but still pretty easy in the grand scheme of things.
100 Level ENGL = Easy if you can write decently. Take advantage of TA office hours.
BUEC 232 = Easy if you actually give a little bit of a shit. Make a good study sheet. I recommend taking it with George Zhang.
MATH 157 = Scaling saves your ass. I should've gotten a C- or a D, but ended up with a C+. I thought the final was brutal, walked out thinking I got like 15 percent, but ended up getting 55. Even if you're lost, try to show ANY work, you'll get part marks.
ECON 103, ECON 105 = Tedious, but mandatory. Insanely boring, and you are either good at it or you aren't. I fell into the latter category.
Then again, that is my experience. Everyone is different. Those who are better at math and stuff will probably do better in ECON/MATH and not as well in BUS 237/272. If you're getting a C- in one or more class, I'd suggest retaking it. You won't get in otherwise, unless you get As in every other course. I got a C+ in all of MATH 157, ECON 103, and ECON 105. Barely made it in without doing retakes (I had a 3.22 in the nine courses I think), only got in because I did well in the other 6 classes. Just be warned that if you suck at quantitative classes, like me, Business isn't always fun. You're forced to take BUS 336 (Data & Decisions 2), BUS 312 (Intro to Finance), BUS 207 (Managerial Econ), and BUS 254 (Managerial Accounting).
I included 254 there, not because it's hardcore on the quantitative stuff, but because the majority of people hate it. I'm in the same boat. I'm probably going to concentrate in Accounting, but managerial acct is so friggin' boring. Not looking forward to the prospect of having to take two more upper division managerial accounting courses.
Just thought I'd lend my two cents. Procrastinating on studying for my BUS 393 final haha. | My GOD!!!!! I'm the exact opposite. (well sorta) My first semester just ended and I managed to pull off an A- in math after studying super hard, and a B+ in Econ 103. I'm still waiting on Econ 105 and English. My Econ mark should be pretty good but for English, I did terrible on both my essays ( got a C and C- respectively) and will probably get no higher than a C+ if my final exam mark is decent.
And does anyone have any tips on how I can prep for BUS 251 with Anne Macdonald? Is the whole textbook relevant or can I skip some parts? The textbook is very dull and each chapter is 50 pages long I heard that accounting can be quite difficult
+ I'm quite worried about the group project for BUS 272... what happens if some of the people in my group don't pull their load ? ):
