just wondering if anyone is running a lenovo thinkpad laptop to school? I have problems connecting to SFUNET after waking up my laptop from sleep mode. My friend with a X series also has problems with this. Any fixes?

Happens on any laptop, its because i think your login to the network has expired but the computer doesn't realize this. Usually fixed by a restart.
An answer to your problems is to setup SFU secure (search SFU's website on how to do it). You never have to enter your credentials again and its actually faster in some areas than SFU net

i actually have SFUSECURE-NET setup, but it wont connect after waking up. The only solution to this is using linux on my laptop, but i need some functions on windows. I always restart and its a 50/50 chance for it to connect back =[ so frustrating
Lol I don't think Imma come for tuesday lecture anymore if I have work, its so boring and I'm just on RS the whole time anyways, not worth the 2hr commute :/
