whats sfu's policy on tuition penalty for dropping classes? I registered in a class but Im 100% sure that I dropped the course before the first day of lectures. And now I find out I have a $50 financial hold :fuuuuu:

the first day of lecture? or the first day class began?

if classes begin for everyone on monday, and your lecture was friday, the deadline is before monday, not friday.

December 2 (Friday) Last day for 100% refund of tuition.

December 3 (Saturday) to January 11 (Wednesday) Tuition penalty of $50 for each class dropped (maximum total penalty $100) during this period, if your net course load has decreased.

that explains it... thats pretty ridiculous though that students get penalized for dropping a class up to a month earlier

I studied pretty hard for it too, since Geoc warned me about it. There were so many questions where I had two possible answers and I'm just like :suspicious::fulloffuck:

Masri's MC was based entirely off of lecture slides and the text :D maybe a couple of tricky questions here and there but I think I did pretty well on it xP

yea i picked alot of answers to be "all of the above" or "a and b" because there were way too many good answers -.-
