For P* I got 6.66 repeating, q was 40, then I got 43 for new Q... (checked using both quantity demanded and quantity supplied), then I was like "dafuq???" when I was drawing my graph, go back to see where I made my error. Didn't have enough time
What did you get for Short answer question 2?

What did you get for Short answer question 2? | For P* i got 6.66 repeating Q* 40 as well. PS and PD were like a couple decimal points higher and lower 6.8 and 6.5 (with some decimals to follow)
Didn't finish short answer Q2 I did get the bonus Q though so hopefully that makes up for that.
Likewise though I ran out of time. Tbh I saw no more than a handful of people who actually left early. Pretty much 80-90% of the class was still there by the end of it.
I studied the elasticity, CSnet/gross etc (cause they were the "newer" material) and none of those were really asked at all |

Need help
I want to take BUS 374, which says the prerequisites are 45 credits and BUS 272. I've fulfilled the latter item, but at the moment I only have 39 credits. After this semester I would have more than that 45 minimum.
Does this mean I'm allowed to take 374 or no? TIA

B-but on SIS it says 45 AND 60... | you should check with the prof then. all the course outlines also say 60, so you might be shit out of luck.
makes sense that it's 60 though, as it ensures that only 3rd year students can enroll. any upper division credits taken before you have met the 60 credit mark do not count as upper division credits, so i highly recommend you finish off all your lower division requirements first before moving on to upper division.

For lower division I still need BUS 207 (which I am being waitlisted for currently, position 1)
I'll see if I can get in touch with one of the advisors with that online chat thing. Need to figure out how to collect dem credits so I can move on to 3rd yr courses later on.

Have anyone taken Mandarin courses? I don't know Mandarin, but I know Cantonese so I can't take Chin100 unless I somehow get through the testing. My concern is how difficult is Chin151 (Mandarin for other Chinese dialects)? From SIS it assumes that you already know "some command of Chinese reading and writing." This seems like a tough course for people like me who are horrible at reading/writing Chinese, and easier/more suitable for people who can already write/read a whole newspaper/etc. It would be great if anyone could chime in, thanks!

I suggest you not to take it for easy credit... Unless you DO want to learn it.

I am trying to enroll to econ 105 surrey. However when I finish enrolling it says the remainder seats are reserved. I checked the description and it said reserve seating comes on MAR 24. Is this just the system's error?

They expect basic knowledge of sentence structure and a decent vocab.
I would say, the department/profs know people are taking that class to boost their mark so pretty much guaranteed B if you do all ur work.

I dont think you need to be a econ/bus student to take this course, especially when a lot of people take it for electives.

Small class and majority of people are Canto speakers easy to bond. Only key to doing well is practice, read, learn more.
In your placement interview, it really depends on your background in speaking and reading mandarin.

hey guys so probably a pretty dumb question, but I'm not a business student and I signed up for bus 303 and I read the whole
"Students other than those accepted into a program in Business Administration may attempt registration in most upper division Business Administration courses contingent upon requisites met and space available on the day BEFORE the first day of classes"
so it put me on the waitlist, even though there was like 50 spots open and whatever, but then I went on today sis today and it says I had been dropped from the waitlist? so I'm kinda confused, what was the point of the system letting me go on the waitlist in the first place then ? lol, so I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me what just happened lol.

However, you want to double check that.
Also, bus 303 is totally gay, only good thing out of it was i met my gf there lawl
