it might be Johnson for 232 since hes teaching 336 as well

I liked Choi for econ 105. So chill and love his teaching. Tutorials are pretty much useless though.

Sehic is also back and teaching 105. a lot of people like him as a prof. So you have some nice options

For me lectures were really useless. His powerpoints consists of nothing but pictures. All he provides to help us prepare for the quiz is random definitions from the book and models directly taken from the book as well which he includes separate from his lecture powerpoint. He invites random people from different organizations to help apply some of the concepts. We do random discussions that are really useless to learning the concepts and he constantly tries to promote random books. He constantly throws out random info that doesn`t even become testable.

If I were you and you were taking his class, I would just skip the lectures and read the book. Save your time rather then attend his worthless lectures.

I forgot to mention, ONLY 1 QUESTION FROM LECTURE ever showed up on the quiz.

And just to make this class even more gayer, 60% of your overall mark comes from 2 papers alone. Bus 272 does not help at all. I got an A- in that course but I am probably going to end up with a C+ or B- in 374. I just want this class to be over so I can move on and never see him or this class again.

All I have to say about this class with Adam Cotterall is good luck and be prepared.
Adam is a HR professional and makes his living showing pictures and telling stories. His lectures do get boring but it's somewhat valuable if you actually try to learn.

His quizzes are super easy. Even though I didn't do well on the second one, you just have to read the book once. Averaged like 34/40 on the two quizzes.

Got 42/45 on the first paper and probably the same-ish on this paper. My paper was 11 pages single spaced and with size 11 font. It was long, but not hard.

I got 31/40 on the second quiz. I honestly thought I aced that quiz though. I am probably going to see the TA about this.

My final paper was just a little over 12 pages, with size 11 font. Hopefully I do well on this one since I totally screwed up on the first paper.
Adam`s teaching style doesn`t really accommodate my learning needs. But I guess it`s all preference. Some people prefer pictures while others prefer both pictures and words to effectively learn. l can`t do much now except wait for the results.

Did you attend his final lecture or did you just leave after submitting your paper ?
Were you one of those guys that stood in front of the class to present your learning ?

Is anyone good at using Python the computer program and would be willing to help? Need to use it for an assignment in CMPT165 and find it pretty difficult

301 with Luelfsman (sp?)

Hes not a bad prof but he teaches pretty fast and has terrible hand writing. He doesn't really go over any numerical examples in class though (e.g a question you would see on an exam). Can't really blame him though the course itself has a lot of material and he tries his best to cover everything.

Exams are a little on the difficult side, kind of tricky and a bit too long. Tutorials are pretty useless though.

^I acquired pdf version of the textbook with ALL solutions if you're interested. Tell your kids, tell you wife, selling for $35 because I'm broke student trying to make a living. So far I've barely passed both my midterms. Thought I did well on the second midterm but goofed long answer question 1 =@
