Anyone selling, or know someone selling, U-Passes? Turns out intersession courses only come with May and June passes and I'm looking for July and August passes to commute to school for work. Thanks!

301 textbooks are essentially useless imo.

G-nerd 05-01-2012 08:41 PM

Mother fucking FINAL EXAM.

I went into the final with 90% and ended up with a B+. Fuck Buec 232, I worked pretty damn hard in that fucking course too. I even thought the final was fair. Prof is cool though. Fuck the bell curve seriously.

Anyone know a gym around the vancouver/burnaby area that has punching bags. I really need to vent out my anger and frustration.

Anyone in a similar situation can come join me. Fucking stupid final exams.

All marked homework assignments were out of a workbook for 301. But I don't think I ever opened the textbook. Apparently the texts are "useful" for 302 also, but I never opened them again and my friend said he failed to find relevant material. Good for a refresher though as you'll need to use 301 material for 302.

Question as a compsci major..
Course central says that math 157 and 158 can substitute for 150/151 and 152.. but cmpt 307 says that it requires 150 or 151 and doesnt mention 157.

Anyone know what's the deal here? Other CMPT courses like 371 says that 157 is allowed as a substitute.. no idea whats going on :suspicious:

Ask the prof if it's okay, then (assuming that it's okay) email undergrad secretary or adviser and they can bypass it and put you in. All prof's I've talked to about it there have been no issues and it's helped out a lot...

For compsci mjaor,

If you take math 157 you would need to get at least a B+ for graduation requirements. If you take 150/151 you would only need to pass the class.
