^ It's already quite shoddy imo. You're prob registering for courses, but I thought I should post this here for others planning their courses.
schedule of classes: http://students.sfu.ca/content/dam/s...eofclasses.pdf
They changed go.sfu.ca to a shittier website...I didn't even think it was possible to make it more worse...

Looks like the courses I want will be full by the time I enroll
3rd year, it's hard to get courses.

not gonna end up getting any of the courses i need and im not taking any useless bullshit courses again. i fucking hate sfu
Real talk bro. SFU sucks shit. Courses end up being filled by the time I register which forces me to take more courses during the summer. Fuck that shit. Accomapnied by the useless transit bus up the stupid mountain from production station makes going and attending burnaby classes a pain. It takes nearly 15 min just to go up the damn hill.
On another topic:
BUS 237 Assignment 2 was so fucking hard. Couldn't get the query correct so I ended up summing up all the amounts on excel which took me forever. Pretty sure I fucked up this assignment though. I don't think this assignment was worth the 5%.
What the fuck do you expect? It's the fall semester. Now I'm no rocket scientist or prophet, but perhaps your GPA has something to do with the registration time? Maybe increasing your GPA would lead to an earlier registration date?
You live in fucking Burnaby. 15 MINUTES. Useless bus transit? If it's useless drive up the fucking mountain. You have that option.
Complaining about something that you can change is like yelling at your drawer for stubbing your toe.
Now that that's put aside, I don't know how many of you play Halo. I don't, but..
Reg date is determined by your GPA and number of credits! I got screwed over a few semesters but just got all my WQB out of the way nice and early and am now doing the courses I have been trying to get into for almost 2 years in my last semester. However I'm finishing with almost exactly 120 credits so I didn't have to waste time on unnecessary credits.
Anyone taking Econ 355? If anyone is planning to take it, I recommend taking it during the summer (not sure if other semesters are the same)...so many fobs in my class that are bringing the average down because of bad grammar and spelling mistakes, making it very easy to be on the upper tail of the bell curve!!
So funny to watch my ex's coworker talking to fobs about 355 during her office hours. How they are worried about failing etc etc. Had to poker face my way though my ex's office hours as she had the same office hours as my ex.
Reg date sucks if you're second year, you should do summer semester for the year after your first year so you are ahead of other people by a few days in the following years.
