My dashcam didn't go off either. :okay:

I'll keep a look out around the neighbourhood for thieves. I live off Curtis and Duthie. Usually there isn't too much crime around here especially where you parked, right on Hastings. There's a few delinquents I know of that live around there in the housing complexes. They're a lot younger, but fucking retarded nonetheless, probs Gr. 9-11.

Yea there is, down halifax towards the golf course. Greystone area is full of dealers and just fucked up kids. Lots of people get jumped walking through there.

kevin7352 10-31-2012 09:29 PM

apparently last time they picketed, busses had to stop halfway and everyone walked up the mountain

edit: Email from prof:
It is important to note that it is expected that Translink service to the Burnaby campus may be disrupted. In general, transit drivers will not cross picket lines and may stop service somewhere outside the campus boundaries (commonly at the intersection lights at Gaglardi and then students walk up the remainder of the hill to campus).

macm101- kay wiese
cmpt150- dianna cuckierman.

Really early to be asking, but I've been trying to study these two on my own as I'm planning to these transfer courses next sem. Thanks!

BrRsn 11-01-2012 12:12 AM

Looks like no fatties are gonna be making it to SFU tomorrow bcoz of the walk + gravity. Too bad its not a tuesday I wouldn't have to wait in a 45 minute line to get my original combo with cheese.

Sky_High 11-01-2012 12:16 AM

This should be interesting to watch tomorrow........

BrRsn 11-01-2012 12:25 AM

kevin7352 11-01-2012 06:41 AM

Go check here!

Classes Cancelled - Simon Fraser University

In fact, I suggest everyone check their classes if their profs haven't already e-mailed them.

It was my first semester at SFU and I definitely wasn't ready for MACM, not scaled and I'm pretty sure I barely passed the midterm. I remember going into the final with 56% and knowing I was probably going to fail.
IIRC roughly half the class failed, one of my friends went into the final with over 80% and failed the final = failed the course, and was so pissed he went to the dean and he let him re-write it.

Kay is a pretty good teacher, it's just a very demanding subject

areyounoob 11-02-2012 11:28 PM

bluejays really hit the bulls eye. The course really is very demanding.
I took the course with Kay as well. He's a pretty good lecturer, as in he doesn't just ramble on with a monotonous tone. His examples are good too.

I barely passed the midterm; the average was 37/50. Passed the final though so I ended up passing the course.

Hi all,

Since SFU and SFSS has a shitload of clubs and takes money from us like a drug addict. I have decided that it would be for the betterment of the SFU RS community to open a club based on RS. Where we can talk about cars, school, life or study together and host a party at bennet 2nd floor.

Consequently, I would like to call for the founding of the Revscene Car Club SFU chapter.

In order to become a club, I would need at least 10 members. If anyones want to be an exec or just a member, feel free to pm me your sfu email address.

Funds from SFSS will be used in the procurement of foods, candy, and energy drinks. :fuckyea:
