Are you sure ? From what I recall, the avg is equivalent to a C+ and the letter grade increases based on the standard deviation. I guess the system is different in Upper level classes.

I believe you actually only need 2.4 to stay in the faculty. Not too hard really. However, some people may have realized that business is not their interest so they go into other faculties. So now you are left with those interested in the subject and hardworking keeners.

I am taking 2 UD classes and both have close to 80% avg. The profs never told me how the marks are to be distributed. But apparently, UD courses distributes more A's and B's according to some members here on revscene. I guess I will see when the time comes.

Not that well, no motivation to study at all. That and the fact that I have 478 the next morning at 830 means I have very little time to study. Oh, and I also didn't take any days off work because things have been busy lately.... studying begins at 6pm daily and ends at 2 to 3am :P Probably only going to spend 1.5 more days on it and the rest of the time will go to 478. Reviewed most of the pre-midterm stuff, and gladly I get most of it. Had a little trouble with the more complex tree diagrams but will take a further look later. To do list: review holt winters forecasting, post midterm material, read the article twice, do the midterm review 1x, and final review 2 or 3x.

I hate how in my last semester (spring), my final schedule was the best thing ever. 3 exams, 5 and 8 days apart. Got so much studying done and didn't have to alternate and balance between courses. This semester just blows.

And how's your 336 studying coming along?

wondering if we will need to read his powerpoint slides or if it'd be sufficient to just understand how to solve the problems

I'm on the same boat as you. I have no motivation to study at all. Maybe because I just want to get this over with and start my Christmas break haha. But yeah for 336, I haven't looked at too much of it cause I still have a 360 final group report due Friday, and one of my group member isn't really doing anything...which means I gotta spend more time on that. For 336, I feel like I'm gonna be screwed for the material after the midterm. Seems like a lot of the difficult stuff requires excel to do, so I'm not too sure what we could be tested on.

So...much...to...review...

How is your report coming along. It's so hard to find the information you need for the topics especially if you are doing Smart Meters. Omg he totally butchered our report submission 2. Not one A so far in any of the assignments.
