lol the only time u will ever use the textbook is when you do your presentation, my friend didn't buy the textbook and borrowed mines to do the presentation and he ended up with an A.

I want to swap a class. The problem is that it says "1" available seat, but there is 4/12 on wait list. If I try swapping now, and I don't get in.. will I lose the current course I'm in?

I belive it will swap you only when you can get into that class. If the system won't allow you to join, you will remain in your current class until you can get in (if you can get in). The 1 available seat will get filled from the queue I believe whenever the system checks the availability again

I took it with him last semester. There are weekly random presentations that are based on questions on textbook.

the solutions are given and the presentation is worth 5%
