so you get 100$ for your notes every class? wow ,so you get 200$ every week just by going to class and taking notes? DAYUM

carsncars 01-26-2009 01:12 PM

no no PER TERM :( for 100$ per class i'd never leave uni. 3/4 classes per day * 5 days a week = $2000 per week?!! that'd be a sweet deal

RFlush 01-26-2009 01:12 PM

It's 100$ once.

I got my physio done at SFU. I would advise against it if you can. It's cheap, $10 per visit. But since you have medical now, I would suggest another place. The guy, Danny, rushes you and does not seem to do a good job. Makes you feel uncomfortable and not a friendly guy.

Alphamale 01-26-2009 02:56 PM

^It doesn't help that you're an ugly fucker.

I kidd.

Ikkaku 01-26-2009 06:23 PM

I think he meant a class, rather than actually going to physio.

Nope! I mean actual physiotherapy...

I've been having lower back pains for a while.

SFU Physio was not all that helpful, mind you I've been dealing with a chronic tense back/neck problem for a while.

Still though, Danny treated me like business rather than a patient. In a supposed 30 minute session, he would only spend 15/20 minutes on you and it would feel really rushed. It doesn't help either, when he would treat 2 patients at once.

The only thing that he was useful for was cracking my back(mid and lower) and neck. It would feel better immeadiately, but my problems would come back shortly and even quicker if I didn't think about good posture. I never did any of the exercises he recommended as I am lazy.

I prefer manual therapy which requires least work from yourself.

Right now it's lightly, I mean very lightly, snowing and bout 1-2cm sticking. The road leading up to SFU (from the Terry Fox Field) looks clear but a little build up on the sides where the cars aren't driving on.

Trust me, I am looking out my window. I think i'm more reliable than any forecast website you see ;)

Yea the physio wasn't all that helpful. My sessions were $5 because of my full MSP coverage, but I'm planning to spend some extra money at a better physio clinic. I have chronic lower back and shoulder pains where he couldn't even diagnose my shoulder properly because no symptoms were present at the moment. All he did was give me a lecture on my shoulder bones and told me to straighten my posture. Spend some better $$ and see a better physio even if the low payment sure is attractive.

Not that I am saying some of those who have stated their majors are not really correct. For all I know, those who have stated their majors or minors are telling the truth. Just from experience when meeting classmates, out of those who state they are in "business", I would say less than 10% are actually in business. Of course, those are in non business classes such as just electives or econ courses.

Well I am in the Science and I am thinking of business majoring/minoring or even removing it off my interest (beecause it's going to take a shitload of time for me to complete LOLZ). I'm approved for both, I could switch any time or take both, and I'm just stating my interest. No need to take things oh-so-seriously about people saying they are in business or not. Some might just wanna "transfer into business" because I know so many people who are...which makes no sense to me. I thought it was harder to transfer? I may be wrong :) Nothing wrong with going in two facaulty. ANYWAY....=___=" moving on to the next quote lolz

LOL. When I read your post I thought it said, "How does the med pack work..." and I was like wtf? You just click right mouse button. I was thinking of Left 4 Dead. Sigh, too much gaming.
