Has anyone here used the printing store at SFU Burnaby?
Printing a textbook, not sure if i should go to that store or to Staples....

I agree.. I'm taking 4 courses right now, and two of my courses have two midterms.. and my English class has 5 mini essays... etc etc. I don't get how UBC people take 5, and some engineering people take 6+

This isn't the best advice you're going to get, but why are you taking an english class? There are tons of other courses that count as a W credit (and maybe more too) that don't require as much reading or writing essays. I'm taking IAT 103W and we only had to write a two page essay and a four page essay so far. Our final assignment is to write a 6 page essay.

Don't dun goof with your courses. Your friends at UBC can take 5 courses because they know how to manage their time. Be smart about the electives you take.

I have used that store, and tbh it's a pain in the ass. It's only slightly cheaper than the library cuz they charge hst on top of the prices. Also, all stores have a policy of not copying copyright texts, I'm not sure about this store cuz I've only copied articles. I have heard there is a place near metrotown that does it and the owners do not care about the copyright policy.

Just take out the book. Go to SFU Connect: MySFU and you can renew your textbook online.

Fuck the sfu library though. Borrowed a phone charger and returned it after an hour, and I get an email saying I owe $26 and counting in fines today. Apparently I didn't return it. Not sure if I should pay or what

The thing that I was scared of is going to the library and finding that all textbooks were taken out (midterm is later today). But thanks for the suggestion.

You can probably get your problem straightened out though. I'd call the library before anything else.

There was this one girl standing right beside me and we were pretty close together.
She kept bumping into me, pretty sure it was intentionally as it happened all the the way down until we got off at production.
Pretty sure she was checking me out afterwards she was facing me the entire time :suspicious:

She was VERY cute too :fullofwin: too bad I didn't have the balls to approach her
