I was the first one out of my 345 exam.. either I failed or did okay.. lmao. chick next to me had like 10 equations written down on her exam paper... :fulloffuck: wtf there were 4 true/false questions and 3 were short answer, why would you even need all those equations |

I hope i did ok, BS through most of it gonna check answer key later this afternoon |
Anyone able to help out with this Math 157 question? It's been about 3 years now since i've taken calculus... and I was trying to help my friend with it but I can't seem to get the answer... Any steps would be great. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...inalCost-1.jpg |
yeah I bs most of it and hopefully some of the shit makes sense so that I get marks.... just write fisher equation and marshall-lerner in every question you are bound to get a point or two LOL |
pm'd u^ |
^ lol seriously, i didn't bother just drew tons of graphs haha @ jtanner since u have average cost, multiply ur equation by q then you'll get cq = 900 + 4100(e^(5q-5/850) <--- your cost function then just derive it if i did it properly, this should be your marginal cost funct. C'q = 4100*(5q-5/850)* e^(5q-5/850) * (5) - throw in ur q value then calculate |
Quote:
I got... dc/dq = -900 + 4100 * e^[(5q+6)/850]*[(q/170)-1] / q^2 But I don't think it's right... I ended up with.. -0.452669241 :okay: |
I think its C`(q) = (5/850)*4100*(e^(5q+5/850)) is the answer 42.42? |
Quote:
=900+4100 e^(1/350 (5+5 q)) Take the derivative =d/dq (900+4100 e^(1/350 (5+5 q))) =410/7 e^(1/70+q/70) Plug in q=45 =410/7 e^(1/70+45/70) =113 |

Quote:
C'Q = (410/17)*e(1/850)*(5q+6) Appreciate the help from everyone. |

:fuuuuu: Mbb 201 midterm on Monday, anybody? |
mbb 201 :fuckthatshit: Prof? |
Lynne Quarmby, and Fredric Pio. Quarmby won the excellence teaching award last yr. I don't know how she even got it. She told us that she won't give us review questions because she doesn't want to narrow down our study. Who the f says that? And basically reading the book is not enough, you need to synthesize and connect dots in order to understand the questions on the midterm. The second worst class in my 3 years since ochem. |
^ those awards don't mean much :troll: |
$20 fine and counting for a book my friend returned for me in time... wtf sfu |
