I was in the same course but another class ( I was taking DE) before I realized that I was kicked out of cmpt 120 and put indefinitely on waitlist because of exam conflict (it was TBA on SIS). So i dropped the DE and got permission from the adviser and instructor to take the lecture course. Which was after the deadline, after the online/quiz which I got a 0 for. prof gave no fucks.
The lab questions arn't bad, which one did you have problems with? I hear ya on that one question that didn't work out though.. (i think it was finding the base r thing?) prof better not post solutions to labs after the quiz though..

Actually the TAs were nice and their English was great.
I'm more concerned about whether or not the class is going to be a mess like this for the rest of the semester.
I'm super super noobie at any of the compsci stuff. I get it once he explains it in class but... Otherwise his slides don't really help and the textbook isn't really all that detailed either... At least not detailed enough for a compsci retard like me. Posted via RS Mobile |

I'll probably ask the people at renaissance, they seem like really nice people.

Anyone here have BMO SPC mastercard? My credit limit is $1000, I went over this month, card got declined today, reasonable. But when I got back and checked online, they charged me an "overlimit fee" for $29? Seriously? Why don't you just decline me when I'm about to go over my limit, never heard of this overlimit fee before. Anyone has a spc card and has this happened before?

Its like an overdraft fee on regular bank accounts (savings and chequing).

you can sign up with TD and get overdraft protection or whatever they call it and if you go over its only $5
alternatively, you could just keep track of your finances and not bitch when you fuck up.

$60 is a fair price.

Wow, just looked around at upasses that were for sale. It looks like $60 would be a good deal and upwards of $70 would be fair.

Yup I look young. What can they catch you for if you have an SFU ID and signed upass that matches your SFU ID name?
