Smart man, he's simply trying to eliminate the competition so he can sell his own u-pass
Say goodbye to u-passes for sale once the student ID cards get passes built in
Willing to donate 40$ to you if you accidentally drop your upass on the floor infront of me

1: 2 girls on the 135:
Girl 1: I like the course. It's pretty easy once you get started on practice.
Girl 2: Yea I think it's good that it started off soft, so that you kinda know what to do when it gets hard...
*derpface*
2: Student: "What do you consider cheating?"
Prof: "Well, let's just say that cheating is like porn."

Would it be frown upon to work on editing a non-school related video in CSIL? I'm in cmpt classes so I have an access card, but wondering if anybody would be upset by this?

I wouldn't worry about it. You could say that it's for an IAT course or something.

there are tons of ppl watching dramas and gaming streams in the busy fall. i doubt they care about your editing.
On another note... that feeling when you KNOW you aced your midterm
Studied from 11am this morning all the way until 5pm.... had to learn an entire psyc chapter and do its readings but I think all that time spent studying paid off
Hey guys I'll be going here next year
Got in for communications, but taking Kin transfer courses at start up
Any tips for first year like where to park, what I should prepare for, like where the good washrooms are (srs ), etc

Maggie Benston center generally has clean toilets. I've had a 100% chance so far ahah

After 2 semesters and into my third at the moment here's what I've figured out so far:
AQ washrooms are dirty as fck, avoid at all costs
Go to the gym early... or else all the benches/racks will be taken by newbies
If you're not addicted to coffee, you will be (stock up on some caffeine pills it's cheaper )
Bulk up at the "fight club" - all you can eat and you could pretty much stay there for the entire day...
Rent a book locker at West Mall centre - it's right beside the gym and costs half as much (there's no holes where people can see your stuff)
Some people park on Hastings and take the bus up to campus (take advantage of your u-pass! It saves tons of money for me)
Don't ever buy a new textbook - buy used, find a pdf, or go ghetto like me and take pictures of all the pages (I saved $400 so far since I couldn't find a used copy or pdf for my books last semester)
If you have League of Legends, uninstall that shit asap
Meet some people in the first 2 weeks of classes, otherwise you'll feel
Avoid the lower bus loop between 3pm - 5pm, take the upper one otherwise the buses will always pass by your b/c they're full
Unless you're on scholarship.... all the classes you want to take will be filled for Spring semester (first years get LAST priority enrolling) so sign up for all the courses with the least amount of seats!
Take 4 courses.... unless you want to be like a keener like me who took 5 courses first semester
Don't get lost in RCB Hall or the Education building - it's a maze
Attend orientation, and go to any FROSH if you get the chance
Hope to see you around campus next Fall

TASC building is the best building to study and do assignments in. I used to do work in the 5/6th floor in AQ but sometimes i need wifi and the wifi isn't as strong there as it is in the TASC building. Plus the view is beautiful, sometimes i feel its better than the view of the mountains in WMC.
Make sure you take care of yourself by getting plenty of sleep and keep stress to a tolerable level. Pick up on good study habits EARLY, you won't regret it.

Haha, laughed at some of these because it's so true. Couldn't have said it better myself.
In addition to parking, if you really want to drive up the mountain, there is free 2 hour parking on University Cresent over at UniverCity. Only downside is that you gotta walk 5-10 mins to the AQ, but hey, saves you money for sure.
Some of what foreveryours said are very true. But taking pictures of new textbook or parking down the hill is really a pain in the ass. Either you drive all the way up or none at all. Plus you have to either stand at a bus stop waiting for 135 or 145. Just personal preference. But UniverCity parking is a good option.
