oh lol... it's due tomorrow. You have to make a Query between Product ID in Products and Product ID in sales I believe. Then you have to find aggregate sale (i think...).
The query part is the most important.

^Good luck. He's a good prof if you want to learn, but if you want to get high marks.. should have went with another prof. His midterm was hard, but do-able and fair.
His final exam is on another whole level. Most of the questions are totally different/unrelated to the textbook/homework questions. They are real-life descriptions/think outside of the box type of questions, and the only way to get them is to really understand the concepts and apply the theories.
I would suggest to know the main theories inside/out as that would help imo. Lastly, I didn't like the fact that he asked our class to read the novel, and the only novel question he asked in the exam was a non-econ question. It was basically what ___ happened in a very specific scene of the novel (I felt like I got trolled).

I have options, because I think Dudnyk's class is still open, I just picked him because his rate my prof was better.

Thanks Posted via RS Mobile | Doug Allen is a good Prof, and his lectures are pretty interesting and amusing as well. For me, his midterm was pretty easy.. but I agree with the above post that his final is on a whole new level haha

Doug Allen teaches conceptually. He makes sure you understands the concepts, the big idea of econ, and be able to apply econ to anything, even Beyonce's song lyrics (Yes that was an actual exam question). If you are a conceptual learner, go for him.
Iryna on the other hand, her teaching style is more mechanical, "out of the book". There's usually more numbers involved. She also writes great lecture notes which are really helpful for exams. If you prefer a mechanical style of learning, go for her.
I personally took it with Iryna, but have lots of friends who took it with Doug Allen and we've had long discussions over who's "better" and this is what we concluded with. We even got to the extent where we would attend both lectures and compare the differences of the two profs. Lol.

For anyone that had "Exam Hardship".
I have 3 finals in one day. I believe you can reschedule one of them. So how many days later can you reschedule one of the exams?
Thanks for the help

Thanks for the help | It might be too late to apply for that. Exams - Simon Fraser University
You can try but nothing's guaranteed. Good luck though!

Thanks for the help | Talk to all three of your profs/instructors about your situation as soon as possible, given that you dont drop your courses after 1st few weeks. From what I understand, I believe the exam will usually be pushed back a week or very early (last day of classes). If you have multiple options, take best one of course

I'm majoring in history, and I need this course to do the business minor upper div. I think I'll do better with concepts rather than numbers.

Is Andrew McGee (Econ 201) that bad?
I understand most of it...is due to the course material, but the ratings for all 3 profs offered for that course are pretty horrible...

Didn't help that 157 was like 5 terms before taking Econ 201
Andrew mcgee is not bad, he is droney but he tries to be interesting. It's more that the course content is difficult and he said the pass rate is something like 30% ish

are cmpt 128 and 225 very similar? Might take 128 in the fall as it seems it's a great prereq for cmpt 225... but its for engineers and starts off with C++.. Take 125/126 or go into 128?

Is it a bad idea to stack four 3rd level business courses? Something like 2 easier + 2 harder ones? Any recommendations? I finished my english/sci/b-hum/etc requirements.. and I don't really want to take an elective.
Thanks
