I'm currently on the waitlist. I thought the same thing as you, I shouldn't get a penalty if I drop the course. But a friend of mine said I would get $50 penalty even if I'm on the waitlist for the course. Weird!

Convocation mall. Quickly jump out of the car, go in the parking office (not sure where the new location is tho, must still be somewhere around there), buy your pass, run back to your car and sticker the sticker on the windshield sticker place :P

I got ticketed once at univercity, out of probably 30+ times parking for more than 2hrs,
Usually park at duthie if I'm early. Univercity is kind of a long walk too :/ then again I'm fat, lazy, and have a fucked up toe.
