Last year, my first year, I took three courses each semester and worked two jobs, somewhere around 30-40hrs a week. Don't do it. |

Is there a way to register for a class to save a spot without the pre reqs, and then enroll when the pre reqs are approved ? My reg date is on the 8th and I want to reg for bus 207, but I don't have the two Econ pre reqs on my transfer transcript as I just completed the two Econs at ufv and am getting my marks in about a week, and they got my transfer transcript in January so it's not updated. so I was just wondering if there was a way you could let me register for a spot in the class, and then get enrolled once sfu gets the approved transcript. |

On average, do sfu undergrad graduate within 4 years? Or 5 years is the norm? |

Probably even more for some people / programs / co-op or not. |

Friend did 5 sem of coop and is graduating in the summer = 6 years. |
my parents have been giving me shit for not finishing in 4 years. they say they can't talk about me with their friends, how their friends' children finished in 4 years blah blah blah. For god's sake, I have worked part time during my entire 4 years to try to pay off my student loan, plus I haven't taken a single summer off since even high school. /rant Not saying I didn't slack off, but I don't deserve what they say to my face repeatedly about not finishing in 4 years. Is it really that big a deal? I have already told them 5 years is normal just like I expected from the answers that I have got, still keep bringing the topic up again and again and how embarrassed they are. |

I took Phil100 Spring 2014 w/ Dr. Mc, the course isn't too bad, readings don't take too much time and I only had two essays, midterm, and a final. I've found with Phil, your writing in your essays has to be straight forward. There's little room for creative writing and doing so will usually hurt your mark. |
Anyone taking any upper division CMPT courses? I'm planning on taking Network 2 (CMPT471) and QA course (CMPT473?) in Surrey for fall semester. Maybe some electives as distance ed. As some of you said, I wont have a life doing full time distance ed and working. I'm still deciding if I should do it. Depends if I finish all my core courses according to my schedule I guess... |
:okay: The one time I'd actually prefer morning classes is the time when the courses I want are in the afternoon Spoiler! |
All times are GMT -8. The time now is 09:40 AM. | |
